This project details a continuous improvement plan for Latino Engineering, an engineering equipment manufacturing company facing declining customer orders and increased complaints. The plan, based on lean six sigma principles, aims to address critical issues such as equipment defects, inaccurate order processing, poor design and development follow-up, long turnaround times, and inadequate service delivery. The project outlines specific objectives including defect elimination, improved order accuracy, design and development enhancements, turnaround time reduction, and service delivery improvements. It proposes a phased implementation with clear timelines, action steps, and milestones, including root cause analysis, plan development, and project closure. The plan emphasizes process improvements, particularly through centralization of order management, reduction of process cycle times, and minimizing interruptions. The implementation strategy includes employee training on six sigma processes to ensure successful execution and achieve the goal of improved operational efficiency and increased customer satisfaction within a three-month timeframe.
