AI Summary
This assignment is a reflective journal exploring a student's continuous professional development (CPD) journey. It delves into how the university experience and the course module have contributed to the development of essential employability and study skills, including communication (verbal and written), research abilities, ICT proficiency, teamwork, networking, time management, self-management, and problem-solving skills. The student utilizes Kolb's Reflective Cycle as a framework, providing concrete examples and evidence to support the achievement of these skills. The journal details the student's experiences, reflections, and learning processes within each stage of Kolb's cycle (concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation). It highlights the importance of skills like communication and teamwork for personal and professional growth. Furthermore, the assignment includes a plan with objectives to hone these skills further, outlining strategies for future development and continuous improvement. The journal emphasizes the practical application of theoretical concepts and the student's commitment to ongoing professional growth.

INTRODUCTION
Continuous professional development is describe the learning activities, professional
engage in to build and increase their qualities. It disable learning to become intended and
proactive, rather than passive and reactive. It combines various strategies to learning such as
training workshops, conferences, E learning programs, excellent techniques and practices and
idea sharing all focused for an individual to change and have effective professional development
(Gospodinov, and et. al., 2020). There are various institutes and professional bodies over the
united kingdom, a number that is forecast to enhance. It covers procedure of tracking and
documenting the skills, knowledge and experience in this gain the things formally and informally
beyond any basic training. It is all about experience to improve upcoming things. The purpose of
this development it covers training and developing professional skills by independent,
participation that is depend upon interactive learning. For example student looking forward win ,
for whole team. They have to enhance the collective knowledge about team. There are various
examples of CPD such as: continuing education, improve job performance, enhanced duties and
responsibilities, skill based training and job assignment and research etc. this reports determine
the Kolb's reflective cycle and show the how the procedures will be implemented.
MAIN BODY
Kolb's reflective cycle is a goal directed and behaviour learning theories to develop a
learning cycle with values process and the ongoing nature of learning. It is a procedure where by
knowledge is developed by the transformation of previous aspects (Parsons and et. al., 2019). It
involves the acquisition of abstract concept that can be applied flexibly in a range of conditions.
Learning is the procedure whereby knowledge is developed by the transformation of experience.
This learning style theory is typically delineated by a four stage learning cycle in which learner
go through all the prospects.

Concentrate experience : New experience or situation is encountered or a reinterpretation of
existing experience.
Reflective observation of new aspect: it is particular essential are any inconsistencies among
previous prospective and Experience.
Abstract formulation: This reflection gives rise to new idea, or a modification of existing
abstract concept. ( person has learned from its previous aspects).
Active experimentation: The learners implement their ideas to the world around them to see
what happens (Ajani, 2019).
Effective learning is about when person progresses by a cycle of four stages having a
concrete experience followed through experimental cycle that is given above. Kolb's shows
development process in which particular stage being reverse supportive of an feeding into the
next. It is reliable to enter in the cycle at any position and follow it through appropriate ordering.
But effectual learning only refers when a assimilator can implement all four stages of the
model. Therefore, no one stage of the cycle is efficacious as an learning operation on its
personal. It explain that several people give preference various acquisition style. Different
elements convenience's a people preferable style such as: social environment, educational
experiences or the basic psychological feature of the particular. The style of learning give

preference itself is reality the trade good of two pairs of changeable and two different qualities
that presented kolb's as an line of an axis each with contradictory modes at either end. A different
ceremony of this experimental learning cycle that the overall axis is known as processing and
the north south axis called the perception time (GENIE, 2019). It believed that I cannot
perform both assumption a particular time such as think and feeling but our acquisition style is a
goods of these two choice determination. Specificlearning styles represents a collection of two
preferable styles, and also highlight terminologies for the four learning styles are as: diverging,
assimilating, accommodating and converging. Here I am giving brief explanation about kolb's
learning style (Nhan, 2020).
Diverging: In this people are able to look things in various perspective. They are
sensitive and it prefer to watch rather than do, tending to grab information and use imaginary
things to overcome by the problems. They are best at showing concrete conditions from different
various point of views. They are interested on those people who are imaginative, emotional and
tend to be strong in the arts. It prefer the diverging style to work in groups to listen with an open
mind and receive personal feedback (Chai, 2019).
Assimilating: It involve logical approach concepts that are most essential than people. It need
good clear explanation rather than a practical opportunities. They stand out at understanding
broad range of information in ethical manner. This style of learning is very important for
effectiveness in information and science careers.
Converging: This style able to solve difficulties and will use their learning to find solutions to
practical causes. It prefer technical task and are less concerned with people and interpersonal
prospects. In this style people are the best at finding practical uses for ideas and theories and they
are able to solve their problems and make decisions by finding solutions to questions and
problems. People with converging style it is all about experiment with new ideas, to stimulate
and to work with practical applications.
Accommodating: in this people use another people analysis and looking forward to take a
practical and experimental approach. They are attracted to new challenges and experiences and
take out plans (Siraj and et. al., 2019).
This thing implement on education, learning stages and cycles could be used through
teachers to do evaluation the learning provision typically available students and create more
ethical learning opportunities. Also, respective can be aided to learned more significantly by the

determination for its nominal desirable acquisition styles and the transformation of these by the
petition of content acquisition cycle. I am a student of university and I looking forward to
develop my skills which is very essential for future development. I involving kolb's reflective
cycle in my research what I learned, as per the concrete experience, communication skills is very
essential in any field or any area because if I carry forward my personality in market so I have to
enhance my skills, dressing face beauty doesn't matter. Intellectual thinking, mind gaming and
communication are mandatory to fill up the attributes of our personality. It shows appropriate
maturity of the person (Powell and Bodur, 2019). There are various types of communication
verbal and non verbal. Speaking is not considering communication, understanding the things
analyse the right punctuation and convey in ethical manner. If I m willing to do any brand so,
there effective communication plays a very crucial role in corporate world critical thinking as
well that encourage towards the managerial level.
Reflective observation : In this I learned team work or networking, according to my experience, I
didn't knew about team work. It plays very important role in every organization to accomplish
the goal. When I was in university I learned event management. In event organising all thing is
based upon team work and networking that show the unity of work and gives the best out come.
For example a student is a charted accountant and he is looking forward to open consultancy, so
he has to make network contact to open its own consultancy and without it is not possible to
acquire aims and objectives of the organization.
Abstract Conceptualization: I have to be concluded what I learned if I talk about
communication or team work both are very beneficial for me because good understanding and
better enthusiastic about work gives various kinds of opportunities that is encourage towards the
excellence and get success. If I have a effective communication so I am able to grow because I
mention above communication is plays very essential role in every field and team work as well.
If I have both of qualities which is necessary for personal growth as well as professional growth
so, nobody unable to stop me and I m willing to learn more things (Cooc, 2019).
Active Experimentation: it is all about implementation and planning about learnings. I learned
problem solving skills and try to overcome with solution. First of analyse the situation and try to
find out the solution. To solving a problem make a strategy to cop up with difficulties and
challenges. I have to listen the problem and and I will try to solve with avalaible resources.

Excellent problem solver are able to come with solution because better understandings plays
vital role in overall life that make good relations (McDonagh and et. al., 2019).
CONCLUSION
It has to be summarised and I can be concluded about findings, skills plays very essential
role because without skill there is nothing. If I want to grab more things so I have to develop
various types of skills. Communication, team work and networking that is essential to increase
the abilities. This thing makes smart, brilliant and intellectual which develops the personality
from over all prospective. Continuous professional development plays vital role because being a
human being never put full stop in front of life. Matter of fact is learn every day and try to
hungry about the things or skills.
