I am presently working as a care coordinator in the organisation presently there is an analysis of
the reflection of my present experiences in my organisation. In the morning when I visited the
hospital the client required some help because they were not feeling well and was very afraid
from the overall experiences because of the disease from which they were suffering. There was
scheduled operation after two hours for this purpose I had to help in convincing and having a
positive mind set so that they do not lose their morale. The present reflective report is based on
an incident that took place just before the operation of a patient it was one of the major
operations which led to a mental breakdown just before the 2 hours when operation was starting.
As a care coordinator it was my responsibility to handle the patient so that there is proper
positive mindset that is established before starting of the operation.
I was helped by another week of mine who was care helper for this purpose I applied aspects like
communication, compassion and competence from the 6 C’s. For this purpose we immediately
help in coming down because the client was feeling very anxious and the level of anxiety was
increasing very fast.
Feelings: I was feeling very nervous as I was not sure whether I will be able to help the client in
dealing with the situation of anxiety. So I applied to my existing verbal communication skills so
that I can make her calm so that she can be mentally prepared for the operation. The family of
the patient was also very tensed and depressed as they were not able to understand the situation
of patient in the present scenario.
Evaluation: I immediately asked the patient to just relax and close her eyes so that she may get
calm for some specific time period before her operation for which I again focused on the aspect
of care and competence.
Analysis: from this incident I figured that I have made some of the mistakes as I was not using
proper techniques to practically apply and help the patient in reducing high level of anxiety.
There was little confusion that was one of the biggest issues that I faced.
Conclusion: After this incident I understood the importance of care and competence as a part of
6 c model. I also understood that communication is one such aspect that is very important in the
healthcare sector that can help in reducing many emotional and behavioural problems of patients.
Action plan: from this incident I have learnt that it is very important to understand the
requirement of patient and focus on skill sets of care and compassion before conducting any task
in the healthcare sector to prevent the mistakes in upcoming future time period. Based on it I will

be preparing for other action plan that can assist in dealing with all the negative aspects that were
faced by me in the present scenario.
TASK 2:
Covered in PPT
Task 3
Reflection
There is need of value based system that can enable the staff to follow the set of principles hat is
required to ensure high level of care. There are some of the principles and values that are
continually required in order o have procedures, policies and legislations for have proper code of
conduct and other documents in long run. For the purpose of giving best possible care there are
some of the specific high standard care that is required to deliver high quality and individual
care.
Present report is based on National health organisation and the selected career job role is of a a
care coordinator. There are some other specific skills that are required to be performed while
working as a care coordinator and necessary to be added in order to have its proper implication
for future job role. Their overall report has help in understanding the specific skill sets that are
very important in the course of performing the duties and responsibilities as a care coordinator. It
includes different types of communication skills which is directly related to the way patients
have to be handled. Another associated skills set is related to time management because in
healthcare sector it is very important to manage the time because there are multiple directions of
working that are required to be done. Another aspect is associated with the required level of self
confidence which is very important to achieve high score in performing the assigned job role.
Apart from this attitude is also one such perspective that helps in considering effective customer
services. There are many different types of soft skill sets that are required to be present in order
to have proper development in the course of organisational functioning. The present report has
assisted in the process of learning the importance of stress management. In healthcare sector in
situations when there is high amount of negativity or stress it is duty of the health care
coordinator to properly manage the situations so that it does not has a negative impact on present
health situation of patient. While working in teams there can be instances of internal conflicts
which may affect the coordination of work. In order to deal with the internal conflicts it is

necessary to have proper presence of collaborative working practices. Collaborative working
practices assist in the process of dealing with conflicting situations when there is presence of no
proper accountability and reporting relationships. Work ethics is a set of values that is based on
hard work achieved by individual in the course of performing their professional duties. In
