What specific benefits would convention centers gain from hosting their own in-
house events?
As per the case study, the event happened in the year 2015 and gathered more than
25,000 visitors (Adelaidecc.com.au. 2019). Being the biggest fan event in Australia, which has
been occurred in the convention center namely Adelaide CC. Conduction of events in the
convention center is the matter of utmost importance as it helps them to build their brand
reputation. Hosting own in-house events plays a critical role for the convention center to make
face to face connection among the visitors which is the key of building a strong community . In
the context of contemporary virtual world, such face to face connection is totally missing which
can help the community to maintain collaboration with each other which is the key of building a
cordial bond within the community (Fletcher & Bostock, 2019).
What specific benefits would convention centers gain from hosting family
oriented events?
Holding family oriented events is the matter of utmost importance as it can support the
convention center to strengthen their image in the external market. By conducting the family
oriented event, the convention centers become able to showcase your venue which is the key
of strengthening the public image. Generating huge range of revenue is one of the greatest
benefits of hosting family oriented events. At the same time, hosting family oriented events
also requires the charge of entry fee which is another source of revenue, which the convention
center can attain by hosting family oriented events (Sadri, Hasan & Ukkusuri, 2019).
Who are the various stakeholders and their roles in this event?
The stakeholders are the critical factor of attaining success from the events. Thus, it is
imperative to acknowledge the stakeholders properly. In the case of LEGO event, there are
multiple stakeholders, who are directly involved with the event. Initially, the visitors are the key
stakeholders, who are directly involved with the event. On the basis of satisfaction level of the

visitors, the success of the event can be determined. The equipment suppliers are also major
stakeholder of the event who play a critical role in providing high quality of equipment abd
thereby strengthen the value of the event. The most vital stakeholders of the LEGO event are
the participants who with their high performance level, paves the way for attaining success
from the event.
What other services and complimentary activities would be suitable for such a
LEGO event?
As LEGO is a cultural program, it is imperative to offer complimentary services in order
to keep the visitors satisfied. Initially, it is imperative to offer complimentary food to the
visitors. It is important to avoid imposing charge on snacks, tea and coffee. However, charge
must be imposed for main course foods. At the same time valet parking service is also to be
provided. Strong security is also to be provided to the visitors (Pyke & Ong, 2019). Security
guards must be hired from the security agencies. Entertainment means must also be provided
to the visitors in order to keep them delighted.
