Introduction
Coronavirus is a new viral disease that is attacking most of the Asian countries. So far,
the virus has affected Thailand, South Korea, Japan, and the United States. Due to the recent
deaths in china caused by the same disease some medical drug-producing companies have
benefited (Gondo, 2020). The drug was previously treated using Nasdaq drug but due to its
infectivity in treating the disease, a new drug called S&P 500 and Dow has increased the
demand.
Due to the increase in demand for the drug, the company producing the drug called
Steepen stock price has increased by 3% while that of Nasdaq has reduced by 0.8%. On 25th 1-
2020, the cost of Dow Inc. shares in the New York stock exchange has increased by 1%
(WACKER., 2020). This increase cannot be compared to that of S&P Inc. their stock price has
increased by 3%.
Through the financial report 2019 of the S&P Inc., the company increased its current
asset by 25%, fixed assets increased by 37%, and liability increased by 8% in 2018/2019
financial years (WACKER., 2020). The increase was tremendous in the 2018/2019 due to a
number of reasons like;
Increase in demand for their product S&P 500
Increased investment during this period
Increased investment by the company shareholders

The financial analysis explained that due to the Coronavirus occurrence in Asia some
medical drugs company will fall while others will thrive. The analyst explains these results are
supported by a confidential financial disclosure report of the company and annual financial
report of the company (Clover, Feng, & Ju, 2018). The two reports give a comprehensive
financial report and explanation.
