Job market is getting wider now-a-days by the contribution of online job portal through
social media availed through internet. Different job opportunities are advertised on the
online job portals for different job scopes. Main subject of discussion of this article is job
opportunities in Australia for the post of corporate accounting through online job portals.
Accounting is considered as one of the prestigious jobs since inception of business
process globally. For the companies listed in stock exchange market, the role of
corporate accountant provides significant contribution by its knowledge and deliverance
to the stakeholders. This article will highlight the role of corporate accountants with their
personal attributes, key tasks, roles, responsibilities and deliverables for the corporate
entity in Australia. It will also be highlighted how the job opportunities of this position is
advertised in the online job portals of Australia by selecting thirty two samples of
advertisements from the eminent job portals of the country. The samples will highlight
the requirements and subsequent expectations of the employers from their employees.
The advertisements show clearly the background of corporate business, the

discussing this same subject in perspective of Australian job market for corporate
accounting. This segment of accounting needs special expertise empowered by
professional and academic qualification. Demand of this profession endorses personal
attributes to perform this specific role of accounting. It is imperative to say that all
professions have their own features and respective demands by the employer from the
aspirant candidates. The job advertisements in online job portals provide the respective
details about the job opportunity with the company profile, the expectation of the
employer from the employee, identification of specific key tasks, role, responsibilities

samples selected with fifteen, fourteen, two and one instances respectively. All these
online job portals are popular in Australia and the corporate entities prefer to advertise
their job opportunities there to attract the sight of good and deserving candidates.
Corporate accountant is a specialized position of accounting in corporate level and
proper advertisements attract the sight of right candidates of Australia to meet the
