Question1: What are the primary ethical issues in the video?
The primary ethical issues in the video is that these people lack any form of empathy,
conscience and therefore the quality that actually help us distinguish between what is positive
moral and immoral (documentaryheaven.com). These psychopaths are people who are concerned
about their objective and are competitive and they try to achieve their goals with manipulation,
and other techniques and they do not care if they are adopting the good method for achieving the
objectives. The society exists in form of a pyramid and there are people above us who may be
the main reason behind the conditions presently being faced by the society and this is believed
because of the common phrase that a fish rots from the head. Capitalism is therefore one such
ethical issue addressed in the video because of the power that they have and the decision they
take with the same.
Question 2: Who are the stakeholders we should consider as we work through
the issues in the video?
The various stakeholders are the general public who follows all the leaders whether the
political leaders, the corporate leaders and others. These people have the ability to affect
everyone. These leaders are manipulative, egoists, lack any empathy and therefore they try to
achieve their goals through unethical means. People have a tendency to follow the directions
shown by higher powerful authorities without questioning them and therefore they may also turn
into psychopaths. The stakeholders can be all the people who do not follow their gut instinct and
follow the powerful people blindly and as a result they get affected by the same. These people
can belong to the corporate world- where the psychopaths exist as a part of the most successful
teams or as a corporate head and they try to influence all the decisions and activities of the others

through their competitiveness, manipulation, power and others.
Question 3: What responsibilities do the corporations involved have? Are the
corporations meeting those responsibilities? Why or why not?
The corporate leaders are called psychopaths and are referred to as the corporate
psychopaths because they are manipulative, egotist people, and fail to carry out their
responsibility. They can be hidden among the higher performers in order to get training and
development to gather necessary resources to gain power and they are the ones who take other
people out through manipulation they set up the firing activity and therefore get their competitors
out of the organization. The corporations have the responsibility to show the right direction to the
organizational employees and to treat all people fairly without having any prejudice and biases in
the organization. There are many people who are psychopaths and belong to the top performing
groups. Being a part of it they tend to influence the decision making and therefore do not allow
the organization to carry out its responsibility properly. Corporations are being led by leaders
who have power and therefore many times they influence others on the basis of the power held
by them and they are focused on achieving the goals by any means and they do not feel guilty for
that.
Question 4: What responsibilities do the governments involved have? Are the
governments meeting those responsibilities? Why or why not?
The governments involved in the present scenario have the responsibility of laying down
proper regulations since they are at the top of the pyramid and it is also the duty of the political
leaders to use their power in a proper way to achieve the objectives however these leaders are not
meeting their responsibilities because they frae using their power for their own benefit. These

leaders use manipulation to lead the general public and they do the same in such a way that
others start believing the same. These people do not meet their responsibilities because they do
not feel the emotional connection with the general public and therefore the society’s concerns are
none of their business since they lack the sense of empathy. In fact these leaders try to use
manipulation to make people follow them blindly and then they achieve their objectives.
Question 5: How, if at all, should our society respond to these challenges?
The world is run by mostly the psychopaths, sometimes the sociopaths can also convert
to psychopaths in order to gain an advantage. The society should try to avoid taking all the anti-
depression drugs because after taking these medicines people may lose their ability to react to
different situations. Without the access to these medicine people can develop empathy and
therefore save themselves from turning into psychopaths. People become emotionally blunt after
taking the medicine and therefore this scenario can be changed if people get feedback from
others. Connection between psychopaths and happy pills is empathy and these drugs kill the
feeling of empathy. People who blindly obey their authority they may engage in unethical
activities. People should follow their gut instincts and broaden the circle of empathy.
