The global business environment is referred to the combination of various macro
environmental factors such as political, economic, legal, socio-cultural, environmental,
competitive and global etc. which directly impacts corporation’s performance, productivity and
operations as well. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is major contempory ethical issue in
the global business environment. CSR is a type of international private organization self-
regulated which has goal to to give high contribution to the societal objectives of philanthropic,
activist or ethically-oriented practices (Ayalew, 2018). There is an example of CSR such as it has
aim that all organization follows corporate policies that benefits the environment which is major
challenge for the company, because they have to take sustainable practice in their business
activity which impacts on organization’s performance and operations as well (Tallman Luo and
Buckley, 2018). The positive impact of the corporate policies on the organization is this it
supports to build good brand image in the business market. But these policies are quite costly so
it leads financial loss in the company. There are lots of companies that supports to eradicate issue
effectively by following the practice. There are lots of companies which has aim to get
sustainable business performance so they add to the problem. There is an example of Tesco
company which takes CSR practices in their business activities so that can help to maintain
environment.
