The corporate social responsibility in case of the Intel depends upon building the business with
future driven technologies and ideas. To ensure the company is socially corporate and ethical the
company has served over 100 countries. The company also saved the 60b gallons of water which
is 80% of the targets set and now the company has the initiative for achieving 100% by 2025. In
terms of the sustainability Intel has outperformed AMD. The robust performance and the regular
code of conduct as followed by the company outnumbered the companies and set a name in
serving the public accountability as well. The Intel water policy takes it all by keeping the
customer’s needs as well as the needs of the society as the top priority, by fulfilling the
operational needs (INTEL, 2018).
AMD
The major responsibility of the AMD is to develop and deliver the technologies that give slightly
different edge and enables a better place as world for the customers. The company considers the
corporate social responsibility from the perspective of people, planet and purpose. The company
protects the license to operate and collaborates with the strategic partners. The product is packed
in the biodegradable material. The company also has the portal namely AMD alert line that helps
in accepting the queries from all around the world and suspects the illegal activity or violations
in order to be corporate responsible for the people as well as the company (AMD, 2018).
