Introduction
The following paper discusses the importance of the corporate social responsibility
within the constraints of the business organizations. These CSR activities have huge impacts on
the ways the organizations can cater to the society and contribute their best efforts. The various
aspects of the Chronicle essay will be discussed and the analysis will be provided based on the
critical thinking of the articles.
Chronicle article one
The first chronicle article deals with the issue that the activities of corporate social
activity should begin from the business schools only. The author of the article is Donna Sockell
and it was published in the year 2013. As per the view of the author in this article, I have realized
it is indeed very much important to prepare the leaders from the business school level so they
will be able to cater better to the needs of the organization and the society (Sockell, 2013). I
personally believe that leadership is an inherent capability within the human beings. This skill
could be explored in new ways by the several business schools. I think the values of the
organizations are the most essential things to be critically very much successful amidst the
society. As the business scandals are increasing, it signifies that the business schools are not
being able to incorporate the ideas of ethics and social responsibilities within the minds of the
children (Sockell, 2013). The author has displayed her views much perfectly that apart from
reaching the methods of preparing the corporate strategies and competitive advantage, it is also
the responsibility of the business schools to learn the students about the importance of corporate
social responsibilities (Schwartz, 2017).

As suggested by the author, I also agree in this fact that the students should be given the
opportunity to discover their own personal values and their responsibilities towards the society
(Tai & Chuang, 2014). This is why the business schools must incorporate the ethical
considerations within their syllabus. The good corporate behaviors and the integration of the
ethics within their business will be very important for them (Chronicle.com, 2018). I have
realized in my personal life if I can be ethical and stress on the personal values of the employees,
this can earn me a good place in their hearts and let me win their trust as well.
Chronicle article two
This article is being written by Charlotte Kent and it was published in the year 2016. The
skills gap in the hiring process should be effective enough so the organizations could cater to
their objectives (Kent, 2016).. I have come across the fact that the skill gap among the
technology students have been increasing and it has been the basic problem indeed in terms of
their basic reading, writing and math skills. This gap has to be mitigated and some of the basic
skills gaps will have to be resolved. As expressed by the author and the other people I have
acknowledged that the soft skills gaps are very much absent among the students in a large
manner. The skills of the employees are very much important for their better performance. I
suggest that the business schools must be very much proactive in examining if the basic skills of
the employees are perfectly all right. This will be highly important when they go on to serve the
organizations in a serious way (Kent, 2016). It is the belief that the proper training of the
employees should be effective for the betterment of the organization as well.

According to the plagiarism blog post, I can say it is very essential to make the references
and citations in the proper order for the solution papers. The cover sheet and the references are
the very important facts for the formatting of the papers (Plagiarism.org, 2018). The good papers
will always be full of the in-text citations as the clarity of the papers and the proper arguments
could be understood. In my opinion, the solution papers should be very significant to pass the
coursework for the students in the most effective manner. The academic plagiarism should be
avoided and the papers should be the original creations of the students. These things will help the
students to mitigate the skill gaps to some extents. I believe that I should always express my own
thoughts within the witting because the plagiarism is always penalized. The students should
present their ideas in their own independent ways that should not mix up with the content they
have derived from the website sources. This is the distinction between the two types of things.
Conclusion
As per the above discussion, I can conclude that the skill gaps within the organizations
are the barriers to the success of the organizations. I also believe that the work ethics and the
corporate social responsibilities should be taught within the extents of the various schools. These
things will be very important for their future success.
