Corporate social responsibility is an large concept that focus and depends on
organizational and industry also. It can be focus by different measures such as CSR programs,
philanthropic activities and volunteer activities that helps organization as well as societal benefits
with boosting their brand name. It is equally beneficial for organization and for community also.
CSR is an one of the important responsibility of an organization for an organization for
environmental and social well being. This report is based on Asian paints which is an Indian
multinational company that engaged in manufacturing, selling and distribution in paints, coatings
and other products for home décor, fittings of home and other related services. This report is
based on major CSR activities of Asian paints that helps in access to large market share and to
grab high ratio of loyal customers. Hence loyal consumers play a major role in organizational
growth and enhancement.

Corporate social responsibility in year 2015-16, firm contributes money on sustainable
development by bringing growth and to bring change in lives of communities by caring them
(Aguinis and Glavas, 2012 ). Their priority for CSR activities is on skill development of people
so that they can be enough capable and spends almost 18 crores rupees on training and skill
development of people. This is one of the initiative that impress me because in whole world lot
of workforce are available but they are lack in skills and talent so enhancement in skills are very
essential. It focus on giving the health, education and water management initiatives that are
helpful in enhancement of living conditions of society (Brammer, Jackson and Matten, 2012.).
It majorly focus on key areas of improvement and contributes in areas of Education, skill
development and health care with water management. It spends different amount on different
activities such as it spends 18.00 crore on vocational training and 6.46 crore on water
management (Cheng, Ioannou and Serafeim, 2014). In water conversation to save livelihood,
food security and for development of socio economic enhancement spends money to give better
life to their citizens. It is another best initiative by the Asian paints because in all over world
suffer from problem of water scarcity so that they by recycling, judiciously consumption and by
aware people about importance of clean water to give better life to their citizens and build strong
relationship with them (Dhaliwal and et.al ., 2012). It helps in both financial and non financial
benefit for the organization and give growth and enhancement in environment. With both the
initiative which taken by Asian paints enhance their consumer base and make them loyal towards
the organization. After implementing these initiative gradually they got high consumer base
which should be prove fruitful for them. On other hand it helps in beat their competitors to make
distinctive image before their consumer base and increase their sustainability ratio which is an
important factor for an organization (Crowther and Seifi eds., 2018). In financial benefits that
compassed by Asian paints by adopting CSR activities of water management are that it reduces
31% carbon emission in financial year 2017-18 in comparison to 2013-14 which directly save
their production with operation cost. In Asian paints total no. of beneficiaries are 3,35,994 in FY
2017-18 that enhance their production time and cost also and build an strong image in front of
their consumers. It increase their annual profitability and helps in grow in market sphere to reach
at large consumer base (Kitzmueller and Shimshack, 2012). CSR activities should be
implemented to attain some pre specified vision and mission to improve the life of people and in
development by bringing growth and to bring change in lives of communities by caring them
