United Arab Emirates is a country that known for its multinational companies.
Therefore, the values of Corporate Social Responsibility is highly essential for the UAE
rulers in the global context. Following it, the UAE rulers, for example, Jumeirah Group, an
organization that put stress to incorporate corporate social responsibility and preserve natural
resources of the country with the help of environmental laws and regulations provided with
the support of business ethics in the required transactions and acts in accordance with the
standards of global contexts.
In the dynamics of GCC international trends of implementing CSR, UAE significantly
marked its relevance in its sustainability in the corporate sector. In reference to Hofstede,
societies that are already developed are likely to be rule oriented with rules and regulations
that reduces the uncertainty in the environment as well as in inequalities of wealth and power
(Al-Jenaibi, 2017). In Jumeirah Group, unregistered economy and corruption is a prime
issue. Philanthropist activities are more focused in academics, health care and social welfare.
Furthermore, subsidiaries of multinational corporate sectors provide examples of CSR
through implementing business policies. Dubai is one of the striking example of luxury that
exercise CSR in order to promote lavish lifestyle with profitable economy and cultural
diversity (Al-Jenaibi, 2017).
In the UAE, the practice of CSR is observed as large number of business policies that
are related to employee health, behavior and safety are implemented. Apart from these, it is
recorded that UAE faces a serious issues against environmental impacts. Following it, UAE
need expertise who would incorporate logistic analysis in order to improve the practices of
CSR.
