Corporate social responsibility commonly know as CSR is one of the most important thing for
every business organization, this simply means company have to be responsible towards
betterment of society. It is very clear that CSR is challenging for business because completing
requirements of society require high level of management. This study is based on, this report will
discuss corporate social responsibility and its impact on organizational success. Later this report
will discuss importance of CSR in business organization and its link with overall success. At last,
this report will discuss CSR of chosen business organization.

Does a corporate social responsibility programme lead to organisational success:
Corporate social responsibility is one of the most important thing for every business
organization which not only allow them to follow guidelines of society but this allows them to
better society and environment. This is self-regulating business model, this model is used by
almost every large scale business organization to meet demand of social accountability. Many
successful enterprise sees CRS as opportunity to create brand image in the eye of public, these
companies bring betterment in the society for their profit which seems to be ethical. Completing
CSR is challenging task, firm might lose its reputation if they fail to corporate with society,
competing society is not easy task, firm might be completely shut down if they do not meet the
requirement of society. CSR directly impact organizational performance, there are certain benefit
of CSR on organization, these are:
Builds public trust: gaining trust of general public is one of the most important and beneficial
thing for every business organization, this not only impact costumer retention but this also allow
company to generate surplus profit. There are many successful business organization who focus
on betterment of society, but they do not follow non-profit structure. Completely depending on
pattern of organization, CSR is beneficial in gaining trust and building powerful reputation.
Sometimes business solve those problems of society that seems to be challenging, this push
company's growth and allow them to become popular.
Sustainability: sustainability is fuel for business organization that not only allow them to speed
their growth but this help them to become more socially responsible. Connecting CSR with
sustainability, company need to lean, this means they need to fulfil need of consumer demanding
something that do not suite the intended process. Sustainability can be adopted by every business

the organization goals, like revenue growth and maximizing the shareholder value. In present
time, organization are also implementing with extensive corporate social responsibility program
and this might be important for organization in executive role and entire department to social and
environment initiatives. This is also important for looking out the different for each in
organization, the end of goals in always same and this could keep the embrace with corporate
social responsibility aim for maintaining profitability while having effective supportive larger
purposes. Here, types of corporate social responsibility through which organization can lead for
succession:
Environmental responsibility- This refers to belief that Unilever should behave with
environmentally friendly and also lead with some common forms of corporate social
responsibility. Some environmentally as they should follow such as reducing pollution,
increasing reliance on renewable energy, off setting negative environmental impact.
Ethical responsibility- It concerned with ensuring about organization for operating fair and
ethical manner. While having such things this seems to be important for achieving the fair
treatment for all stakeholder including employees, suppliers, customer and investors. Along with
these firms can be embraced with ethical responsibility and have their own business process to
ensure about profits.
Economic responsibility- It is practices of firm backing with all financial decision in having its

Legal responsibility- This help the organization for allowing the laws and also about regulation
as they can easily apply towards their business operation. While having such things this must
adhere to the rules laid out with society it they are wish to function as business activities.
