the countries across the world. Currently, globalization has made the world more connected
and driven the areas by the human capital in the country (Weill and Woerner, 2015). The Costa

nation and particular with those in educations. The education system is directly linked to the
involvement of the job opportunities and maintaining the stability of human capital in
generating global economy (Laforet, 2013). The sovereignty and prosperity of the multinational
company helps in influencing the government to relocate the business to another country. This
can cause severe competition among the countries. Therefore, the Intel set forth some goals
that Costa Rica had to accomplish before initial investment made to the country. Globalization
has led to greater interdependence in the world through which Intel MNC Company has to

P2 AND M1
Project Definition
The project can provide the ways through which the initiatives undertaken by the government
helps in improving human capitals and educational policy decisions in the Costa Rica (Johnson,
2010).
Problem statement
Costa Rica is primarily agricultural based economic country. This has directed on the growth of
the technology as a major export which has driven a new direction and opportunity to the UK.
As MNC’s invest in Costa Rica, the Eaton group of schools has also increased the responsibility
for developing 21st century skills in students which are prime concern. Despite of this, the
literacy rates remains lacking in the area (Gebauer et al., 2016). Therefore, the problem is that
students who begin the education are not sticking to the graduation level in the region. Further,
the country failed to prepare the labor force to ensure the future demands of MNC’s. The
shortage of critical skills and shortage of prompt response can be catching up with the
developed countries. Thus, the policies which the Costa Rica government has marked have
failed to ensure the time supply of relevant skilled work (Gebauer et al., 2016).
Problem strategy
The strategic actions that can be involved in the study are as follow:
The concept of the foreign direct investment can help in influencing the education
system policies
Document Page
The development in the MNC can influence the education in Costa Rica with the range
of knowledge gained among the people
The corporate funding is affecting the education policies which can be overcome by
allocating the resources to schools and education system
Project Scope
There is a little evidence on the subjected area which can be efficiently evaluated in the entire
study. The future development of the project will allow the target people to understand the
educational leaders in Costa Rica which can be improved to prepare and support students as
they enter to the knowledge based economy (El Ouirdi et al., 2016). The implications to the
education systems can also be improved with the help of policies and procedures that are
contributed to significant practice.
Project cost and time
The project is likely to take 12 weeks in order to set up the entire research in the other country.
The involvement of the expansion of the Eaton School of Groups in the Costa Rica would help in
directing the funding from the Intel MNC company to provide the human capital and funds to
the organization (Dos Santos, 2011). The FDI investment can mark on the business with the
subjective dealing in the business.
