This research covers various chapters to conduct research in detail. The first chapter of

with ADHD.’ In third chapter, the research strategies, research approaches, research design.
research philosophies and data collection methods are discussed to meet the aims or objectives of
research in an effective way. In next chapter, findings are assessed to have complete knowledge
and learning of research’s results. This research paper states the requirements, methods, as well
as benefits of counselling of the children with ADHD.

Introduction
This research paper discusses the topic ’the counselling of children with ADHD.’ The
counselling is very helpful for the children with ADHD. It helps the children with ADHD to
manage the symptoms of hyperactivity. Various children diagnosed with ADHD has risen in
previous period and many of the professional counsellors of present time doing work with
children, would work with the clients influenced by disorder. The following parts state the aim of
research, research questions, and literature review. In the addition of this, research paper
demonstrates research methodology and conclusion. The chapter of research methodology
describes the methods of research as well as the decision regarding the research methodology
that would be required to conduct research study in a proper or effective way.

Literature Review
Counselling of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
ADHD is named as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.’ It is considered as common
childhood disorder. This problem is increasing day by day. The signs of ADHD include
carelessness, hyperactivity as well as impulsivity. However, the symptoms are different from
person to person. Earlier, ADHD was known as attention deficit disorder (ADD). ADHD can
take place in the children as well as adults. However, the symptoms always start to occur in
childhood. The most noticeable symptom of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is
hyperactivity. While children are obviously quite active, the children with hyperactive signs of
attention deficit disorder are always affecting. These children with ADHD try to do various
different things at a time. They try to jump from one activity to another activity. It can be very
difficult for them when they try to sit. These children found that their foot and fingers are
drumming and their legs are shaking (Danielson, et. al, 2018).
Children who may not focus and control themselves, can do struggle in learning centre,
get in frequent anxiety, and find it difficult get along with other persons and friends. The

whole family. To solve this problem, the counselling of children can be a good idea. The
counselling can be efficient treatment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in
kids. The counselling is very helpful for the children to improve the conducts and behaviour of
children, self-confidence, as well as self-control. It is operative in young children while it is
delivered by parents. The counselling may create the dramatic differences in the signs of
children. By getting the best support, the children may come on the track to get success in their
life and to have bright future. When the parents have knowledge that their kid is struggling with
symptoms of ADHD, then they should go for assistance of professionals. In this way, the parents
will be able get proper treatment for the symptoms of children like impulsivity, hyperactivity,
and inattentiveness without having the finding of attention deficit disorder (ADD).
Strategies of counselling of children with ADHD

counselling of children with ADHD. From literature review, the investigator has used books,
magazines, offline sources and online sources to establish the understanding regarding the
counselling of children with ADHD. The resources may be useful for the researcher to increase

For doing research study, the investigator has used qualitative research design and
quantitative research design. The qualitative research design is considered as the investigative

figures by arithmetic measurement (Foley‐Nicpon & Assouline, 2015).

method includes the primary data and secondary data. In this research study, the researcher
considers the primary data collection method. In this way, the researcher will be able to gather

Conclusion
As per the above analysis, it can be concluded that the ADHD in children is big concern
to be solved. This issue is increasing day by day. The counselling of these children with ADHD
is very essential to control the hyperactivity. The teachers, parents, and school counsellors can do
better counselling of the children with ADHD. After the counselling, they will improve their
conditions. The children will be adjustable in school environment and social environment after
getting the best counselling. They will also be able to learn different things.
Further, it is also concluded that researcher will use the positivism philosophy to attain
relevant and best results. Additionally, the researcher will implement the mixed data collection
method such as primary data collection method and secondary data collection method. Form the
above explanation; it can say that mixed data would be used to conduct the research study
because research has independent nature. Primary data collection will be collected by new data
or primary data. It will include the numerous resources like observation, conversation, focus
group, survey data collection method and questionnaires. It is also clear that the secondary data
collection method is depended on the current data, which can be collected by case studies,
journals, books, offline resources as well as the website of company to collect data regarding
