scheduling interviews with human resources.

Direct hours can be considered as hours that an individual spend in face to face interaction with a
client. On the other hand, indirect hours refer to time spend in conducting activities like
documentation or supervision. GCU requires completion of 600 hours of supervised clinical
experience in which 240 hours are needed to be given in direct client contact within the course work
and the remaining to 360 hours to be assigned in indirect hours (Lemmer & Wagner, 2015).

The focus of LPC is to resolve issues associated with emotional, psychological and substance abuse
problems.
On the other hand, key duty of LMFT is resolving emotional, mental and interpersonal problems
experienced on the part of couples and families.
