The Issues Associated with Counseling Clients with Therapeutic techniques presented, as
well as professional and ethical
As far as therapeutic techniques are concerned, Methamphetamine is a holistic chemical
drug for the youth. There is a range of emotions involved in the counseling practicum of clients.
A client is met in a formal setting for the sake of assisting with issues and concerns. In this
context, we relate counseling clients with therapeutic techniques presented, as well as
professional and ethical as associated with drug abuse. The drug is commonly known as the ‘Ice’
and takes the heart of the youth to be addicts. An addict is a person who is dependent on a certain
drug and cannot do without it. In Australia, police are against the use of the Methamphetamine
and carry out day to day operations for the sake of reducing the use of the ice drug. Apparently,
Australia has a lucrative market and a gram costs 1000 US dollars. Unfortunately, most families
are destroyed every day for the use of Methamphetamine. In this case, most teenagers are
destroyed due to addicting which cause a conflict to a father to son misunderstandings. Just to
mention, a drug is a physical or a chemical substance that causes an addiction to a human body.
Australia is facing a new frightening epidemic in Methamphetamine abuse. The number of
Methamphetamine users has tripled since the year 2011. Any person with a cautious mind would
admit that the state of Victoria has recorded 14deaths as a result of Methamphetamine. The
purpose of this paper is to pinpoint the two videos of Methamphetamine addition and self-harm
that results from depression illustrated below.
To begin with methamphetamine addiction, the addicts can spend an extreme day without
sleep, paranoia, and psychosis (Tang, Tang & Posner, 2016). The addict will always destruct

those people who are within their life cycle. For instance, Doctor Shawn Green; the doctor in
charge at the Austin Hospital (a hospital that handles severe cases of Methamphetamine) reveals
that Methamphetamine effects are more dangerous as compare to the alcoholic effects. The
addicts a can spend sleepless nights without sleep, On the other hand, a person can die after 10
years for the reason that they suffer from high body temperature (Lindgren et al., 2018). An
addict will increasingly desire more dosage to maintain the normal functioning of the body. The
brain cells that control movement are tempered and therefore; this causes the users to stagger in
the event of using Methamphetamine (Lappint et al., 2016). The substance contains steroids
which cause hamming of them on every object that they come across. Alternatively, there is
pickling of the human skin as a result of consistent use of Methamphetamine. Broxson is a factor
which is responsible for the pickling of the human skin (Huang et al., 2018). In this case, we are
given an example of an international boxing champion Barry Michael, after his retirement epoch.
The boxer has to punch his so twice more his age. His son is an addict of Methamphetamine.
Michael wants to see his son fight and win most championships even though he uses
Methamphetamine. Michael’s son was arrested, and this could not restrict him from spending
1000US dollars a week on ice (Halkitis, Levy& Solomon, 2016).
However, there were bike riders who were responsible for the trafficking of ice in
Australia. The bike riders resulted in working as ice dealers due to an increase in the
unemployment opportunities in the country. Unemployment is a government failure long term
effects which promote the use of Methamphetamine across Australia. Young people prefer
tracking of drugs rather than staying without any form of payment (Degenhardt et al., 2017). In
this video, convicted ice dealers such as Tom narrowly escaped imprisonment. Tom was
involved for numerous drug trafficking 0.5 grams which lasts for a week. Tom was influenced by

a gang member for the genesis of the use of ice in his lifetime. Tom had no financial muscles to
maintain the use of ice. He was enticed and introduced by his friends. The gang members
brought him free ice at the initial stage of his addiction (McHugh, Nielsen& Weiss, 2015). Later,
Tom was forced to seek help from his family depending on his father mercy. Tom was found
guilty of stealing for the sake of coming up with his friends for the use of Methamphetamine. In
this case, his mother Jane did everything to make Tom come back to their home. Her mother
wrote a letter to his husband in the request to have his son back. June’s soul worker was
addressed to talk to Tom’s father for his homecoming. The mother was heartbroken at this
moment, and cold does anything to see his son back home. Tactfully, Methamphetamine can
cause a severe family breaks up as revealed by Tom in his one year time (Dart et al., 2015).
The specific type of Therapy which would be Beneficial to Clients Presenting with
this Issue
Clients would seek counseling for various issues. The client might be referred by a friend
because their advice might be limited, and thus, they recommend a counselor. Counseling is a the
type of therapy that would be relevant in terms of knowledge, and skills that can help the client
to implement change (Aron, 2017). Fortunately, Tom had the chance to move to his home. Jane
had earlier persuades his husband to allow his son to come back home. Tom’s father had a long
believe that the government should formulate programs that should help the youth in the use of
ice and other narcotic drugs.
Additionally, his father owns a basketball program for kids for the sake of improving their talent
rather than promoting drug abuse. Alternatively, Tom packs his belongings to get back home

after his invitation. In Australia, farming is considered in Goldberg valley due to high
unemployment rates.
In this region, Morgan has been jailed for five times as a result of theft to satisfy his
addiction. On the other hand, Delphine has been clean for three months after being an abuse of
Methamphetamine and other drugs. The addicts of Methamphetamine live in the small town of
Australia. A drug specialist Stuart believes in a12 year program that will eradicate the addiction
of Methamphetamine.
Relevant Code of Ethics from the Psychotherapy and Counseling Federation of Australia
(PACFA); Australian Counseling Association (ACA)
Association of the ACA requires followers to observe to the ACA Code of Ethics and
Practice. The Code of Ethics and Practice is relevant to counselors effort related events. This
includes the counseling training as sound as research and supervision of learners. Counseling
program begins with apprehension and enthusiasm (Corsi et al., 2019). Self -harm is not allowed
in the current epoch because it is against the relevant code of ethics. Self- harm has an equal
purpose with suicide for the sake of reducing depression at all cost. A person would prefer to
hurt themselves rather than facing reality on a particular issue that makes them uncomfortable in
life (Aron, 2017). In this video, depression has caused cutting (scars) that result from self-injury
which is meant to release anger, worry, and fear which causes uncomfortable emotions to deal
with.
