INTRODUCTION
Reflective essay is an essay where the writer basically examine their own experience. In
the same way, the report is also based upon the reflective of why and how the writer have
developed as a learner during the module. And further it reflect upon the how to approach the
future challenge and expectation of a management course in a University.
MAIN BODY
1. How and why you have developed as a learner during this module
As a learner, I realized that having an effective communication skills will help me to
present myself good in a team and it is also help in career development as well. Moreover, I also
analyzed that positive behavior and gratitude of others, a collaborative efforts also help in
solving the problem of every team members which is one of the good example of an effective
communication (Graham, Walton and Ward, 2019). Overall, an effective communication also
help to develop a professionalism in a student and in a learner. That is why, there is a need of an
effective communication. But during the module, I come to know that my communication skills
or presentation skills are not as much effective as it want to be. In my university, when I took
part in a group activity, then I realized that I cannot speak and convey my message in squad and
that time I come to know that I did not posses communication skills which will also affect my
future as well. It has been also analyzed that when a person is communicate, listen and express, it
will automatically improve their presence of mind and even enhances the memory as well.
In order to improve my communication skills, initially I start attending communication
center where I focusing on my verbal communication skill mainly. This will help me to bring
some confidence and it directly helps me to convey my message to others in effective way.
Apart from this I also start took part in different group activities in order to check myself. But
even though I did not improve my communication skill up to that level where it needs to be.
After it I start focusing on others such that I first listen to them what other says and to improve
my verbal communication skills, I start using affirmative responses and this strategy help me a
lot to improve my communication skills (Brett, 2019). Such that I start speak with confidence
and I can easily convey my messages to others team members of my quad. This positive attitude
will also help me to increase my carer development options. As I want to become a marketing
Manager and for that I need to improve my communication skills because for this job profile, an

effective communication is must. Thus by using the effective strategy I can easily improve my
communication skills and presentation skills that help me in my future career growth as well.
2. Reflection on how to approach future challenges and expectation of a course
During University course, my overall experience is quite good and this helps me how to
deal from different situation. This directly help to enhance my negotiating skills and As I had
completed my management course in the university and now I can say that I posses good
management skills with effective communication which further help me in my future career
growth options as well. As I want to become a Marketing Manager and for that reason, I must
posses good communication skills and presentation skills. Even if I posses advance research
skills that will also help me in my future growth. Apart from this, I realized that as compared to
my past performance, my performance level is also increases such that I enhance my knowledge
related to management stream and for my future career option, it is quite necessary that I should
posses enough knowledge that help me to overcome the future challenges as well.
Therefore, my overall experience in of the university course is quite good and even I also
learn lot of things from there such that communication skills, management skills, presentation
skills and this will all help me in my future growth as well. Such that during my university
course I come to realized that a positive behavior towards a work will also help to attain the
goals and objectives of a future. This learning force me to improve my communication and
presentation skills which directly help me in my future growth option. Apart from this, as I have
good leadership skills, research skills but on the other side I do not interact with others easily and
this may creates hurdles in my success path and for this reason, I start took part in different
cultural activities so that I can easily make myself comfortable in any situation with anyone. This
further help me in my future growth option and provide better experience as well (Cottrell,
2017).
In addition to this, I realized that as my performance and behavior is positive towards my
work it will help me to manage my entire work in effective manner and this directly affect my
future success too. Such that an effective time management skills will help to manage the work
in my future job roles as well. This all skills directly approach future challenge and expectation.
Therefore, a positive behavior, better working performance will help me to grab better
opportunities In future and as my overall experience during a university course and great and
enthusiastic which also further assist me to reflect better future growth opportunities.

By summing up above report it has been concluded that an effective communication
skills and presentation skills will help an individual to grab better opportunities In the future.
Moreover, report also concluded that person's overall experience during a university also reflect
that how they can manage their future challenges and expectations. Therefore, through the report,
it has been concluded that a positive behaviour, effective performance and positive experience
will definitely help individual to lead a successful future and grab further career growth
opportunities as well.
