INTRODUCTION
Covid-19 s a situation of global pandemic which has create various impact on student, their
education and their life. These impacts can be informed of positive and negative. It has increase
demand of online education and digital platform (Ghosh, R., et. al. 2020). It provides various
flexibility to student which attract them towards this mode of education. But at same time it
creates negative impact on their skills development as well as health. This project report includes
impact of covid-19 on education of student. It also includes positive as well as negative impact
of global pandemic on education of student.
MAIN BODY
LITERATURE REVIEW
According to Khalili (2020), Covid-19 is a global pandemic for all people living in different
parts of world. This diesis does not have treatment and can create negative impact on health of
many people. With spread of this dieses government of many countries has put restriction on
many activities including business, travel, walking out from home, education and their activity.
Purpose of these restriction is to avoid physical contact between people which is necessary to
avoid spread of dieses. This diesis is increasing at very fast rate and government has no solution
to solve these problems. It has affected all most every sector and also result in negative impact
on economy. Due to this situation government has announced lockdown in many parts of
country. These situations can put negative impact on business as well as employment of many
people. Students are not able to go out of their home to take education as schools and universities
has shut due to this pandemic situation.
According to Pham and Ho, (2020), Covid-19 has shut school existed in different parts of
world which affect education of many student. This create changes in education system with
increasing trend of E-learning in which teaching is conducted through digital platforms. Online
education is one of education form which allow sharing of information in less time. Dues to
effect of pandemic in different parts of world online education is provide solution to these
problems. As this is one of medium in which one can get education with physical contact with
another person. This online education create impact on people as even after post pandemic
people are still choosing online learning. This create huge impact on education sectors as
demand of online platform is rapidly rise. This also increase demand of distance learning as it

saves cost of student to live at some other place and also cost of travelling to education
institution.
As per Li and Lalani (2020) Global pandemic create opportunity for student to learn from
online medium. This online study has various benefits for students. This global pandemic
provides student flexibility in leaning as they can take classes any time while working and this
provide them to learning as well as growing their skills professionally. It saves time of an
individuals as they do not need to travel to educational institute which allow student to have
balance in their life. This mode of study allow student to rase question in class without any
hesitation. If student already has knowledge about class, they can skip that lass and can switch to
next topic as this mode provide them flexibility. This also allow student to better manage their
time as there is not fixed classroom time and student has flexibility to take their classaccording to
their availability of time. This learning also teach student to be self-motivated as there is not
force to take class, student need their own motivation to take classes. This will also help in
improving their communication as well as collaboration. In online mode of learning, students are
giving various project and task which they need to complete with other classmates. This allow
them to access various modes of communication to completion of task which helps them in
overall development, this will improve their communication skills as well as also provide them
opportunity to develop leadership skills. This will also allow student to develop various technical
skills which they are facing while taking classes.
According to view point of Chaturvedi and Singh (2021), Learning through online medium
is not only create positive impact but there is some negative impact of this type of education.
Global pandemic result in drastic change in education system as students are depend on online
learning. This online mode of learning does not provide them immediate feedback of teacher.
This lack of interaction creates various confusion in minds of students. This online mode of
education create problem of isolation for student as there is lack of interaction between students
and teacher. Online earning requires time management skills of students as well as their self-
motivation. As there is no force on student to take class which make them able to skip classes.
Online learning does not able to develop communication skills in student as there is no face to
face communication of student with other students as well as teachers. Online education is more
focused with theoretical concepts and ignore practical learning. This can affect education of
student as it does not provide them practical education. This online mode does not provide lesson

of discipline to students as they can attend lass whenever they want. This create problem of lack
of discipline in student life.
In opinion of Burgess and Sievertsen (2020), Covid-19 has created impact on life of student
of every age group as it makes them depended on online mode. It increases trend of distance
learning as well as online learning among students. They are depended on technology for
education even after in post pandemic period. This pandemic has affected education of students
in many ways as it creates problem in conducting examination, completion of assessment on
time and other ways. Schools and educational institute are important for purpose of development
of skills in students. These skills include both personal as well as professional skills. Global
pandemic has impact on growth of skills development of students. This can create over their
career and professional skills. Assessment are conducted in education sectors to provide
information about progress of student to their families as well teacher. This assessment has been
cancelled due to global pandemic which does not pride right information about learning of
students to their teacher and family. This can impact on their development as well as learning
process. It creates problem for students who are going to graduate this year as it is difficult for
them to identify job opportunity by themselves.
CONCLUSION
From above mentioned project report it can be concluded that global pandemic has create
negative impact on various sectors from business to education. It has stopped economic growth
and stops every activity conducted in economy of every country. It has put restriction f people to
going out of their home. It has affected education of student in various ways. Dues to effect of
global pandemic, schools and universities has shut. Due to this their examination, assessment and
study has also stopped. This create trend of online education between students. Even after period
of post pandemic people are still preferencing online education. It provides convenience to
students as they can take class whenever they want. It saves their time to go to universities as
well as colleges. But it creates negative impact on education of these students too. As this mode
of learning does not provide interaction between student as well as teachers. It creates lack of
discipline in student and create negative effect on skills development of students.
