INTRODUCTION
The current study is based on Covid 19 and its impact on many companies within United
Kingdom. It will explain three different types of questions that relate to affect of COVID- 19 on
Wizz air and Blue air business operations and tactics. Furthermore, it will justify appropriate
suggestions and draw final conclusion.
MAIN BODY
1-A
Compare COVID- 19 impact on two different firms strategy and operations
In context of Wizz air, COVID 19 is one of the biggest factors that affect current business
operations and strategy of company. Due to this factor, consumer service operation influenced a
lot, workers are unable to provide appropriate services to visitors, which impact on brand sales
and profitability in negative manner. It is one of the best and well known airlines in the world,
but now it suffers a lot because of above disease that direct impact on health of people and makes
them very ill. They develop strategy for increasing sales even better, but due to this factor
profitability of airline decrease more and more. Government make restrictions related to travel
and tour activities. In all over the world, flights have been cancelled and no one can go anywhere
where they want to go (Fernandes, 2020). Because of above element, cabin crew members could
not be able to allow may be less than 20 passengers.
As compare to Wizz air, Blue air strategies and operations like marketing, finance and
consumer service does not influenced too much, because they already take good care of
everything. Staffs already sanitizes their hand before serving food and other things to passengers,
currently they take this situation more seriously and allow only two to three workers to serve
visitors food and beverage. They allow those travellers who used mask and keep sanitizers in
bag, which is really very important. Management feel little bit pressure because of COVID 19
situation, and change the way they serve. They change current strategy related to staff training

and develop new one according to circumstances. With the help of training they trained workers
how to treat passengers and serve them with social distancing.
1 B- Drivers of Change
There are mainly two types of drivers that can bring about organisational change within
Blue Air- internal and external drivers of change. The internal drivers of change comprise of
forces and factors that are present in the micro environment of Blue Air that the business
organisation has some amount of control over. Such internal drivers of change comprise of
factors such as internal innovation within Blue Air, which has the potential to bring about radical
change within the retail business. A change in the organisational business strategy of Blue Air
can also act as an internal driver of change, bringing about an organisational change in the entire
business’s operations and functions (Stolfa and et.al., 2020). Such internal drivers of change can
bring about organisational change within Blue Air relating to their organisational structure,
strategy, human resources, operational processes etc., based on the type of innovation developed
by Blue Air or the new business strategy that is adopted by Blue Air.
External drivers of change within a business organisation such as Blue Air comprise of
forces and factors that are present in the macro environment of the business organisation, with
Blue Air possessing no amount of control over such factors and forces. The external drivers of
change include various macro economic, political, technological, social, environmental and legal
forces that can significantly influence the operations of Blue Air and bring about a major
organisational change within the business (Sundaram,Ziade and Quinn, 2020). Such drivers of
change also have the potential to affect the organisational strategy, resources, structure and
processes ofBlue Air. For example, external technological advancements can bring about major
changes in Blue Air, radically changing the roles of individual employees, the business strategy
of Blue Air, its operational processes etc.
