Reason for choosing research topic
In the present time period, COVID-19 is considered as one of the key implication on
businesses and mainly on the hospitality sector. It has an adverse impact on the performance and
business functions of an organisation and due to this, there are many issues faced such as
shutdown of businesses, ineffective execution of activities, high losses and many more. In
addition to this, hospitality industry faced issues due to many restrictions imposed by
government. The present study will help researcher to gain knowledge about impact of Covid-19
pandemic on business activities and functions of hospitality sector. Moreover, it will also assist
investigator in learning and improving skills that is data collection, data analysis, time
management and many more.
Research Objectives

Process of project management
Project management plan is defined as a document which shows how a project to be
carried out. Along with this, it include different aspects which are as follows:

Time: It is considered as one of the significant aspect of a study as it help in completion of
study in set time frame. In addition to this, it is considered as the expected information on which
project will be finished. The present study will take around 3 months for the completion.
Cost: It is the expenses that take place while conducting the study in a proper manner. It is
vital for research worker to allocate funds properly as it help in executing activities in a smooth
manner. For the present study, £700 is taken in order to carry out study.
Scope: The present study consist of wide scope as it help both researcher and chosen company to
analyse the influence of Covid-19 pandemic on business activities and functions because of
which effective strategies can be developed and performance can be maintained (Tuzovic,
Kabadayi and Paluch, 2021).
Resources: It is considered as the support system that is used in an investigation for
completing the study in a proper manner. Along with this, the resource plan is required to be
communicated to the associated factors so that project can be achieved. There are many
resources required that is manpower, machine and so on (Anguera-Torrell, 2021). With the
assistance of effective resources all the aspects associated to study is implemented in a timely
and proper manner.
