INTRODUCTION
Reflective journal is defined as a practice that allows an individual to reflect upon the
experiences that has been encountered by them from the last past experiences. With the help of
reflection individual can determine important events and can evaluate personal past records for
taking future opportunities (Williamson and Whittaker, 2019). With the help of evaluating the
learning experiences with the help of reflective practice individual can significantly record
personal thoughts, ideas and experiences and can further ensure future development
opportunities. Present report has been conducted on the reflective practice of the research that
has been undertaken on the topic of covid-19 impact on organisational operations.
MAIN BODY
My research was conducted on the impact of Covid-19 on the performance of organisation. I
have very little experience to conduct research from high school. However I have significantly
contributed in research in which I perform my research role of data allocator within a team. It has
been identified that covid-19 have negative impact on performance of organisation thus to
provide measures through which organisation can overcome the negative impact of covid-19 and
enhance our knowledge and understanding the topic. Questions that have been selected to
conduct this research include the impact of covid-19 on performance of business issues that has
been faced by retail industrial sector during Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 have negative impact
upon productivity and performance of employees and strategies through which organisation can
overcome the issues of Covid-19 (Chen, Hwang and Chang, 2019). Our team comprised of
overall five individual those who were delegated with various forms of roles and responsibility. I
have learnt about the number of factors during covid-19 pandemic that have affected business
operations in number of ways. It has been affected by me that in this research I significantly
contributed as the role of allocating data in which I profoundly search for various articles in
order to accomplish research aim effective manner. I have conducted excessive searching in
order to acquire various data and information from best sources those per peer-reviewed generals
in order to acquire useful information to accomplish research. It has been identified by me that I
found quite a few articles related to the impact of covid-19 upon organisation. While in terms
with reflecting on my research experience it has been identified by me that I was keenly excited
in order to undertake research. With the help of having dynamic individual research has been

conducted in a proper manner. One of my role in this research is to allocate view points of
individuals by framing questionnaire and asking them about their views and opinions. I
conducted questionnaire on Wednesday evening as it is the major source through which I can
acquire effective data to conduct research the role that has been allocated to me during this
research data. Research allocator lays major part of this research as it involved allocation of data
and information from various materials like books, journal articles and more. In order to fulfil
this role I take support of books, articles, news articles educational topics in order to fulfil
research aims and objectives in an effective manner. In order to accomplish research objectives
in effective manner all the team members contributed that significant role in order to make sure
that project must be clear, unambiguous, accurate and concise. Project required being indicator
of both purpose and content with wide range of presentation reports and materials. It has been
identified by me that in order to write up the literature review I have faced both negative as well
as positive experience, as in this I faced challenges to acquire information from various sources
in order to accomplish this search with various sources. However the outcome of literature
review of any significant results that provides me positive experience. From this I learnt the role
of conducting research with the help of critical thinking process that significantly have positive
impact upon my personal as well as professional life cycle (Glanz and Heimann, 2019). This
research project maximized my personal and professional growth in number of ways through
which I can conduct future research in effective manner. In terms with my personal contribution
to research methodology I have undertaken the role of questionnaire designing in order to
acquire data in an effective manner from respondents. This provided me positive experience as it
significantly enhanced my communication skill it is one of the most important role that has been
conducted by me that in hand my communication skill ability.
It has been identified by me that in order to conduct research, questionnaire method that has been
undertaken to gather data in quantitative research. With the help of this various elements that has
impact upon research process has been interpreted in an effective manner. However it has been
underlined by me that the major difficulty or challenge that has been encountered by me during
the research process is to acquire view point of respondents, as in this process many individuals
seems to be an interested and did not answer the question in effective manner. Furthermore it has
been underlined by me that I was frustrated with some participants as did not answer questions
that wasted much of my time. However I encountered with number of positive aspects such as

evaluating data from interested respondents that provided me with the effective data and
information through which research conducted in an effective manner. My journey during this
research offered me a number of important it is to enhance my skills and knowledge that
provided me significant personal and professional opportunities. In addition to this it has been
underlined by me that I have significantly contributed in number of aspects of research such as
research methodology, literature review that offered me number of experience. This experience
will provide me both professional and personal development opportunities in a well defined and
effective manner through which I can not only conduct future research in effective manner but
also enhance my communication abilities skill, critical thinking skill, data gathering skill and
more (Walshe and Driver, 2019). These skills will allow me to significantly conduct my future
roles and responsibilities in both personnel as well as professional context in an effective
manner.
CONCLUSION
According to the above mentioned analysis it has been identified that reflective process
allows to significantly determining the past experiences in a well defined and effective manner.
With the help of this person can evaluate their personal contribution and the experience that has
been experienced by them in the learning process. With the help of this proper evaluation of self
performance can be undertaken through which self development opportunities can be assured, as
with the help of this individual can determine the challenges and struggles faced by them along
with the issues through which they can further undertake significant steps in future to overcome
them reflective practice play a significant role that not only developed individual in the personal
context but also allow them to ensure personal development opportunities in a well defined and
effective manner.
