The Global pandemic has changed the live of the individual and the economy. The government had
imposed various restrictions and regulations to control the spread of COVID 19. The economy of
various countries such as UK was falling down due to the global pandemic. The Gross domestic
product in 2020 was expected to shrink by 9%. Various Business and organisations were closed due
to the bad economic conditions and fall in revenue (Mitha 2020) The fall in output and other
income groups has led to serious implications for employment. There were various people from
different section of society who lost their job due to the pandemic. This report is based on The
various impacts of COVID 19 on UK and its economy and various other Effects on the healthcare
economy and the social life of UK's people. Including this, it will also cover the deaths caused by
the pandemic in UK.
MAIN BODY
The Global pandemic was a major issue for the World as it had laid down serious impacts on the
health and other sectors of the Economy. UK is a developed nation which is well focused on
maintaining its various sectors in a proper way. United Kingdom has been recorded the most
effected economy by the pandemic. Britain has one of the highest cases recorded all over the world.
According to various statistics and data it has been stated that the Highest level of increase in the
cases of COVID 19 were in June (Cheshmehzangi 2022) The death rate of United Kingdom was
about 2690 per million people which were considered as the highest rate of death cases in UK. The
initial stage of pandemic has effected the health sector in a negative way as the people were not
aware about the impacts of the pandemic, the spread of COVID 19 and its effects were shown
among the elder age group people from 55 to 64 years. Many people of this age group died because
of the low immunity and inability to fight with the health effects of the global pandemic. There was
a sudden decline in the death rate after the June. After the pandemic had reached at its peak, it was
also recorded that the decline in death rates were started. The pandemic has effected the life of the
people in a negative way as they were being restricted in one place and not allowed to move out due
to the increase in health impacts and other regulations which were needed to be followed in the

The Irrepressible infection and imprisonment measures have created a bad situation for healthcare
in UK. As per reports, it has been analysed that only one third of people of UK were managed to
access the medical care in the peak time during first wave of the pandemic. The researchers have
found that the hospitals were not being able to supply the proper amount of health care items to the
people as there were the shortages of various item such as, oxygen cylinders, beds and other things
which was the major issue for the health care sector to face. The first wave of COVID people were
having adequate reach to the medical facilities of the hospitals. The second wave was difficult for
the Country and it has made it more difficult for the people to reach the hospitals and other health
care centres. The NHS hospital centre was responsible to reach the patients whenever needed,
irrespective of the caste, colour, age and location (Gewin 2020). The various hospitals of UK started
to redesign themselves and postponed their services for the advanced planned and shifted it to get
their beds free for the emergencies. The health care sector was badly effected as the pandemic was
being out of control and various other variants of the virus were also spreading at a fast phase.
There were the unmet neds of the healthcare facilities of the patients due to the crisis of the items.
The medical workers and other health care consultants had tried their best to handle the situation

suffering losses as the international trade were banned (Ihm Zhang and et.al 2021) The Economic
growth was highly effected due to the pandemic. The Economy of London was suffering various
loses and challenges due to the restriction. The government of UK has taken various measure to
cope up with the decline in economic growth. According to the statistics, most of the people were
unemployed in the month of December.
