The impact the coronavirus public emergency will have on (write your placement
workplace name) and the tourism sector
Introduction
Coronavirus public health emergency harms all the industry. OASIS WINDOW is an
organization that provides home services to people. In the current data of Canada, it can be stated
that the public health emergency has created a worse situation. This industry will be affected in
the long term. In the current time, the OASIS WINDOW provides paid leaves to their employees
caused by declining the spreading of coronavirus along with requesting all employees to stay
home. The main cause of selecting this action is
Placement analysis
From the evaluation, it is found that my number of confirmed cases has been increased
day by day. The manager has taken many actions for managing the word caused by spreading
coronavirus named as provide paid leaves, requesting to stay home, providing full payment to
employees. These facilities could be effective for controlling on coronavirus.
Before Covid 19 become a public emergency, it is found that my head of manager shows
their health concern of employee. The manager also informs all employees as they did not need
to panic. The manager could also aware of me as well as my colleagues as towards the
precaution that we will be taken for saving the lives of people. After covid 19 become a public
emergency, manager close offices for declining possibilities of the corona. The manager also
uses technology for communicating with their employee and knows their situation. My manager
is very supportive they ask all employees to stay at home. They also positively motivate an
employee.

At the working place, the manager of the organization provides sanitizer to the employee
for making a disinfected place. Head of the organization focus on the setting of everything. For
maintaining the social distancing in the workplace, the organization has decided to provide paid
leaves to the employees. An organization should need to share actual information towards
precaution from covid-19 caused by saving people (Government of Canada, 2020).
The consumer who has already paid to this company for taking the services of the
company were very worried about their money because their booked product will be delivered
after a reduction in public emergence. For making faith, the organization has always kept in
touch with their consumers. It will be effective for linking the consumer as well as the company
for the long term (Wang, et al., 2020). Apart from this, it is illustrated covid-9 has also
negatively impacting on services as well as customers due to the shortage of liquidity.
The initial stage that would be taken by the owner for their workplace is sanitizing the
workplace caused by making a clean workplace. Another step which is taken by the top
executive is providing masks to all employees for making a hygienic atmosphere. The last step
that would be taken by the owner is aware of all employees towards social distancing.
Technology is effective in the workplace during the coronavirus emergency period
because this tool facilitates contact with all employees without social gathering. It is examined
that once public health emergency is over then the organization should take some essential

strategies to motivate employees for working, some changes in the working structure, and
requesting all employees to corporate (Wax and Christian, 2020).

From the evaluation of the tourism industry, it is illustrated that public health emergency
has worse impacting on tourism for Greater Vancouver. From the data, it is found that Prime
Minister Justin Trudeau declared that no one is accepted excluding Canadians in the city. All
flights were canceled due to the increasing covid-19. Canada has banned travel for tourism that
negatively affecting the tourism industry. Fewer flights were impacting business performance. It
is illustrated that the hospitality/tourism industry suffers due to lower trade. It is illustrated that
due to the lower number of clients that business has been declined (Subudhi, et al., 2017).
The day to day business has been finished due to lack of tourism. In the long term, it
harms all the industry especially in the tourism place because covid-19 has created the finance
crisis everywhere that declines the probability of success for the long term (Niederwerder, and
Hesse, 2018).
The tourism industry could use promotional tools for promoting their place that takes
money as well as the cost of attracting people. During covid-19 public emergency, the tourism
industry has taken some steps related to tourism named as a clean tourist place, banned tourists
from coming to the tourism place, and sanitize places on a small period. After Covid-19, the
organization has improved its growth by making an effective policy.
The tourism industry has chosen a promotional tool by which the organization would
improve its situation along with industry should mandate to all tourism organizations to start
health checkups for all tourists before entering the tourism place. It would be effective for
maintaining a business (Silverstein, et al., 2020).

Conclusion
Concerning the above discussion, it can be summarized that most of the employees of the
organization were aware of coronavirus public emergency at working place by television and
social media. Social media has aware most of the people towards coronavirus public emergency.
My workplace provides many free services to the employee during the public emergency like
work from home facility, paid leaves, interaction by phone, and no payment deduction. It can be
summarized that the company could provide paid leaves, request all employees to stay home, and
sanitize all places.
It can also be concluded that the organization will use an effective strategy named as a
change in the working structure, request all employees for their positive support towards work,
and effective promotional tool. It can also be summarized that the hospitality/tourism sector has
concentrated on different marketing tool by which tourism industry ensure the tourist as they are
safe at the place. The tourism industry should also prove health and safety policies to the
employee as well as a tourist for increasing tourism.
