Cultural and behavioural expectations
of studying for a degree in business
management
Culture plays n important role as it shows the ways in
which others see the business and it affects business
operations. In this regard, I learned that cultural and
behavioural factors play an important role as it offers
us a powerful insight into the business and makes us
able in knowing ways by which we can work within it.
Our behaviour also leads us towards accomplishing
goals in different manner. For example: some people
remain calm in difficult situations because of their
behaviour and culture but some become aggressive
and it may affect the way in which they operate
business and perform all business activities (Pasricha,
Singh and Verma, 2018). I learned a lot of things
about cultural and behavioural factors and the impact
sin business management. Along with this, I came to
know about some challenges that may occur in the
future because of some behavioural and cultural
factors. Some challenges that can affect our overall
performance and productivity within business and
managing businesses include: financial management,
uncertainty about future, customer service,
technology, aggressive behaviour, ways of solving
problems, taking decision and others. Overall, I can
say that I learned a lot about this and it can help me
This learning about cultural and
behavioural factors can assist me
in future studies. It will help me
out in performing my job roles.
Skills that I learned from this
module can also help me out in
solving problems and continuing
my functions without getting

the future, all these skills will help
me out in accomplishing my
academic goals and I believe that I

believe that when we have
decision making and problem
solving skills then it makes us

future to the great extent (Shao,
2019).
I will make use of all those skills
that I learned from this module
and business management study.

an important role So, I will focus
on improving positive behaviour. I
will make use of this behaviour in
performing all functions within
business and while higher studies.
I believe that flexibility skill also be
beneficial for me in the future.
There are number of
environmental factors that may
affect us and this skill can protect
me from those factors and their
negative impacts (Mohelska and
Sokolova, 2018). Communication

out in the future in understanding importance of
considering both of these factors and how they can
affect us our performance.
It increases our knowledge and skills that are required
for working in an effective manner and managing
business operations with effectiveness. Business
within an organisational culture tends to be more
successful than less structured companies. I can say
that culture and behaviours of entrepreneurs can
promote employees’ performance. Positivity and good
behaviour can also make us able in handling business
transactions. It embodies core values of our company
and team members also find easier in improving their
performance. Some skills that are important and I
learned with this module include: decision making,
problem solving, an ability to be calm in difficult

group then initially I became nervous as I did not work
in a team before. When I worked in a team then I
realised that it is better than working individually.
When we work in a team then it increases our
knowledge because team members have different
skills and perceptions. They skills and knowledge help
us out in completing our projects in an effective
manner. Along with this, peer to peer support also
plays a vital role. Peer to peer support give us a
direction and guide us by which we can protect our
self from failure. It is beneficial for us as we can
accomplish our goals in an effective manner when we
have support and right direction. I want to share my
experience and my feelings when I worked in a team
(Harney, Hogan and Quinn, 2017). I realised that
working in a team can give us number of advantages
as it lets us know different effective ways of
performing functions. It increases our knowledge. So,
in this regard, I can say that team working as well as
peer to peer support can help us out to the great

skill would make me beneficial.
This skill can improve my relations
with my colleagues and other
students. I believe that improved
relations with colleagues and
students can make us feel valued
and motivated at workplace. We
find easier in performing our
functions and it decreases
absenteeism. It increases our
productivity because peer to peer
support gives us an effective and
proper direction that is important
for us (Ye and et.al., 2019).
Overall, I can say that it would help
me out in the future to the great
extent and would improve my
productivity as a student and as an
employee.
these will be implemented at my
workplace while performing job
roles. I can implement all skills
that I will learn while working in a
team and all these skills like
decision making, influencing,
communication and others would
improve my performance. I
believe that peer to peer support s
required for all of us at all stages.
No matter we are at superior
position and we can learn new
things from our juniors as we.
Overall, it can be said that team
working and peer to peer support
learning will help me out in career
development (Birinci, Berezina
and Cobanoglu, 2018).
