1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION (TOTAL = 4 MARKS)
1.1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION, BACKGROUND AND MAJOR DELIVERABLES (1
MARK)

1 Description This project is about the establishment of the
educational hubs at the five different locations in
Australia. These locations include Perth, Melbourne,
Rockhampton, Sydney, and Brisbane. Through this, the
committee will support and encourage the education,
awareness, and understanding of local indigenous
people. The suitable venue will be selected for this
purpose and the facilities that should be included in the
buildings of the educational hubs will also be included
in the project scope. The opening ceremonies are also
requested by the committee and the specified will be
done for the conduction of these ceremonies at each of
the campus.
2 Background SET is the indigenization committee which is interested
in those projects by which the traditional culture of the
world is visible and for this purpose they take the
acknowledgment from the traditional custodians of
those lands where the building of campus is made.
This committee like to commence the project of
building the five hubs of education at Australia's five
different locations. The relevant bodies of funding will
be consulted by the chair of the committee for the
gathering of further information regarding this project.
3 Major Deliverables The total cost of the project is estimated to be not more
than one million dollars and each educational hub cost
is estimated to be approx. 200k dollars. The cost of
capital is included in these 1 million dollars and the
amount of rent and cost of operations will be excluded
in this. The determination will be made by the
committee about the number of stakeholders for this
project. The committee aims to encourage as many
students to gather learnings and education through
these hubs (Koh & Rowlinson, 2012).

3. REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT (TOTAL = 5 MARKS)
3.1 TRADITIONAL CUSTODIAN/S OF THE LAND ON WHICH CQ UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES
ARE LOCATED (1 MARK).

The suggestion of the project executive of needing more than one key stakeholder is
correct as only one key stakeholder will not be efficient enough to keep eye on the
progress of all the five educational hubs. It will be very hectic and effective monitoring
cannot be done which will negatively affect the project’s success. At least two or three
stakeholders should be appointed so that each campus can be monitored by them and the
areas of the improvements or the areas where more focus is required to be made can be
known and immediate actions can be taken accordingly. The traditional landowners can be
represented effectively by the stakeholders so that they support in this project (Mashamba-
Thompson, et. al., 2017).
3.2. OPENING STATEMENT STYLE (1 MARK)

“Welcome to the country” should be used by the campus leaders as the opening
statement as this will give a good image to the traditional indigenous people about the
country who have much value for their cultures, beliefs, and traditions. This will build
strong goodwill of the education hubs in the minds of people that the designing of the
University campus is made after considering the country’s people, and their traditions
(Rodriguez, et. al., 2018).
3.3 REQUIREMENTS GATHERING FOR CQU EDUCATIONAL HUBS FOR INDIGENOUS
STUDIES PROJECT (1 MARK)

For gathering the information and requirements for this project the older documents of
Vietnam community project cannot be used as these documents have become old and in
those projects, old techniques and methods were used. Both Australia and Vietnam have
different values, culture, and beliefs so using these documents will not be proper for this
project. New methods and techniques should be adopted and there will not be any benefit
by the Vietnam documents and there might be the possibility of failure of the educational
hubs projects. Therefore, the research should be conducted in detail and information
should be gathered so that the traditional cultures and values can be considered
effectively (Nguyen, et. al., 2016).
3.4 REQUIREMENTS TRACEABILITY (0.5 MARK)

There are five different campuses where the building of educational hubs will take place
so it will be very significant that the proper and detailed documentation should be

prepared for each hub. The documentation of the objectives should be made so that the
proper monitoring can be exercised about the objectives of accomplishment.
Documentation should also include different methods and techniques that will be going
to be adopted during this project. It should include the WBS and WBS dictionary and
Gantt chart as this will give a clear picture of the activities that are required to be
completed within the particular time frame and the cost that should be incurred for each
activity and tolerance amount and time should also be documented.
3.5 REQUIREMENTS PRIORITIZATION PROCESS (1 MARK)

Through the requirement prioritization, the risks can be minimized during the projects’
development. The activities and tasks that need to be prioritized should be focused and
concentrated more. The requirement prioritization should be communicated to the
stakeholders as by this they will be well aware of the project activities and the different
phases from which the educational hubs building project will pass from. This will also help
in determining the resources required in accomplishing each activity (Santos, et. al., 2016).

4.1 INTRODUCTION TO SCOPE (1 MARK)

The work break down structure will be prepared which is the key deliverables of the project
and teams work can be managed and organized into sections. First of all, the project's
location will be selected for all the five campuses, and after analyzing the site the design
and blueprints will be prepared. After this, the faculties for the education hubs will be
recruited and students will be targeted by the market analysis. The arrangements will be
made for the opening ceremony and promotional strategies will be made.
WBS dictionary will include the sub-activities that will be undertaken for the completion of
each task and it will also include the duration time within which that activity needs to be
