1 Project Description
1.1 Project Description and Background
The NAIDAC Week celebration is planned and is to be taking place on the main campus of the CQ
University. The project is coordinative organised by CQ University and national Aborigines and
Islanders Day Observance committee (NAIDAOC). The main purpose of this project is to create
awareness about the understanding of cultures and values of the local Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander
community. There are different protocols that the people of different cultures and followings are using
(Wu, et. al., 2014). Hence it is important that the people of society must understand the cultural
protocols of the Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander community. From this, the participants will be getting
the awareness about the people of society which will be making the people to actively participate in
the promotion of the community’s needs and requirements. The program has been named with the
theme of “Originators”. This theme has been chosen to make the people understand the actual
originators of the original people of the specific place. This project is availing different opportunities
for the various activities which will be helping in enhancing the understanding and skills. The project
will highly be aiding in knowing and creating a healthy relationship with the aboriginal people of the
cited destinations (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017).
1.2 Justification
The project chosen is very motivating and influencing in nature as with the help of this the
participants will be enthusiastically taking part in the activities in an effective way. The main
concern behind this project and celebration is to make the people aware about the importance
and value of the cultures that is followed by people in different regions. The result of this
particular project will be very supporting and positive for the staffs and the students. Though it
is beneficial, some limitations will be creating issues in the project like the financial resources
and the time factor (Marchewka, 2014). The output is the outcome or the result that will be
drawn from the project performed. The outcome will assist the students of the cited university
to enhance their skills and knowledge about the theme. Below is the output, outcomes and its
benefits in the tabular form to better outstand about the attainments of the chosen project.

2.2 Stakeholders Engagement Assessment Matrix
The stakeholder engagement is very important and essential for the project management team to
know and understand. It is helpful in knowing the involvement and the engagement of the
employees that are getting done in an effective and appropriate needed manner. The major
concern of carrying out this is to understand and know about the need for the stakeholder’s
involvement in the operations and activities of the chosen project. By the certain categories and
criteria, the understanding of the involvement of the stakeholders will be able to get understood

3.REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT
3.1 Traditional Owner/s of the land on which CQ University campuses are located
The CQ University's lands are early has been owned by the aboriginal people of the society. The
stakeholders are the one among the owners of the land like the aboriginal people. It is very
important for the organisers to understand and to avail the permission of the owners and where
the celebration is planned to be done in the effective and appropriate needed manner.
3.2. Opening statement style
It is very important for the organisers to take in a notice about the fact that the opening sentence
of the project has to be very effective and it is very important to be focused more. The use of the
theme could be used so that the effectiveness in the presentation of the program. As when the
celebration will be introduced the welcoming will be done by calling the theme's name as this
will be effectively drawing the attention of the people gathered (Vargas, 2014).
3.3 Requirements gathering for acknowledging local Indigenous tribe/identity project by
naming/renaming selected Central Queensland University (CQU) premises
The project is getting done on a large scale. Therefore, it is very important for the organisers to
arrange and manage all the resources and required things effectively and appropriately. This is
very important for the organisation to manage and handle the situations of the event planned in
the best and effective possible manner. Therefore the resources have to be planned from the right
sources. The understanding of the program and its required things could be obtained firstly from
the perceived experiences of the people who have already been involved in a similar concept
earlier. From the gathering of the information's through several sources the standards and
objectives of the project could be able to get meet in an effective and appropriate needed manner.
The training and development programs can also be formed by the management so that the
learning could be enhanced more among the people. The gourd discussion, face to face
