The content of week 1 Unit paper reflects the roles and application of system,
system thinking, and their relevance to program and projects. System is referred
to as a collection of interactive subsystems and whenever these objects are
properly organized the system would be able to deliver synergetic project
outputs. Three different types of systems applications elaborated in this paper
such as closed system, open system and extended system. Cloud based systems
are used to accomplish business purposes.
On the other hand, open systems are used so that it can react with the
environment. However, applications of the extended systems are mostly
depended on other systems. A complete system mainly includes different
related facilities, equipments, material services as well as personal
requirements. In order to complete any project within time and budget time
phased project are needed to be breakdown into smaller phases.
The unit study also elaborated the differences between the project
management and product management; It is the responsibility of the project
and product manager to maintain the management terns so that project gets
completed within assigned tie and budget. The success and failure of projects
are also dependent on these terms and regulations. After measuring the
interest of the consumers for any products its quality and maturity can be
understood.
From this unit study I have learned the application served by different systems,
system thinking and its relevance with programs and projects. System is referred
to as a collection of different subsystems while objects organized all properly.
