Introduction
The following report is based on the expansion of Creative Energy Steam Plant
Expansion process. The expansion process will involve a large number of different process
and systematic ways that can ensure the total completion of the expansion planning. The
report here has dealt with the construction of an underground pipeline system to link the new
plant to Rogers Arena and BC place. The report here has presented the detailed construction
process of the underground pipeline system.
Construction of an underground Piping System
A pipeline is a system of different kinds of pipes designed in a systematic manner to
carry fluids such as oil, natural gas and other kinds of petroleum products that are carried out
over long distances and often underground in nature (ecoursesonline.iasri.res.in 2019). The
pipelines are strategically important as they are used for different kinds of the purposes like
carrying in water or carrying out water and sewerages. The expansion process will involve
the rush to move the steam to new places and connect the pipeline into one integrated chain
of networks. The chain of networks can be built through a strong underground pipeline
system which can ensure the success of the pipeline system.
Steps to be taken to cast the Underground Piping System
Some of the major steps that needs to be taken by the management of Creative Energy
Steam Plant are as follows;
a. Finding piping System- The piping system needs to be find in a manner through
which the calculations for the piping, the pressure of the pipes, the plan of the pipe
layout system and all other details regarding the piping system needs to be calculated
(pumpsandsystems.com 2019). The operating rate of the system and the differential

kind of the flow rate of the water needs to be calculated accordingly to deduce the
system’s energy cost balance sheet.

b. Construction Staging Areas and Storage Yards- The staging areas and the storage
yards needs to be fixed in order to plan and build the pipeline in a planned process.
The staging areas are cleared and constructed over large gravels of stones or pipe and
wooden timbers. The staging areas needs construction from the access roads and from
the paved roads accordingly.
c. Clearing the Rows and other areas of pipeline- The completion of the different
process of the construction staging areas will lead to the organizational process. The
time when all the tools are accessible in the staging area, the management of the
company will start work on the construction of the pipeline (pumpsandsystems.com
2019). The clearing of all the underground electrical lines and all the other elements
of the business needs to be done promptly to ensure smooth operations.

d. Excavating the trench area- The trench needs to be dug out in a proper manner to
ensure the pipes are arranged and installed in an orderly manner. The better the
arrangement, the better will be the operational process of the pipeline layout system.
e. Calling the Fortis- The Fortis system needs to be maintained in a proper manner so
that the total system is engaged and maintained in a proper manner.
f. Transport of the pipe, stringing and the assembly of the total process- The transport
of the pipe is a major process in the following project and the safest procedure needs
to be implemented in order to transport the pipes and assemble them to ensure
business success.
g. Clearing the other obstacles- The clearing of all the other obstacles like financial
problems, HR problems and other management problems needs to be ensured to
ensure business success. Deep drilling and other engineering process leads to be
implemented in a strong manner to ensure business success.
h. Testing the Restoration process- The restoration process needs to be implemented in
a proper manner to ensure that the trench is filled after the installation of the pipeline
and after all the hydrostatic testing has been completed accordingly (Illerhaus Baker
and Hughes 2018). The restoration process is a major business process that needs to
be implemented in a strong manner to ensure the success of the project.
Conclusion
The following report has been one of the best sources of gaining an understanding on
the process of installation of a new pipeline based on the different kinds of the installation
process. The major process of the installation will depend on the success of the underground
pipeline laying project in the most effective and efficient manner.
