INT. MR. JONES HOUSE. NIGHT
MR JONES, a man in his early 50’s, wearing an expensive tuxedo along with MRS JONES; a
woman in her late 40’s, wearing a casual Jeans and T-shirt is reading from her laptop. Mr. Jones
is writing something in a diary, in between, he is fidgeting with an expensive silver pen.
MRS JONES
Kleptomania is a serious disease, it can also be a
manifestation of the development of criminal tendencies in
a teenager. Check out teenagers for any probable secretive
behaviors, drug addictions, and other vices that can also
become a trigger for latent traits of Kleptomania.
MR JONES
Respected Mrs. Jones, you are the first lady of the
city, this city knows you with a moniker of Mrs.
Mayer Madam, elections are nearing, move ahead of
your problems, think about the city.
MRS. JONES
Our son Nick is not a problem, he is a responsibility
that we are sharing, he needs our attention and
monitoring.
MR JONES
Yes, I know, we will think about once the elections
will be over.
CUT TO.
INT. STUDY OF MR. JONES HOUSE. DAY
PRIYANKA, female Janitor, in her early 20’s, wearing the uniform of a janitor, enters inside the
study. She discovers NICK, a typical teenager in his late teens, rummaging through the drawer of
the closet. He Startles when he realizes that Priyanka is in.

PRIYANKA
O…mi Gosh, Nick, inside the study room, finally
your mother’s prayers find an answer, God is Great,
I want to see the joy on her face when I will tell her
that you finally started spending some time with the
books…
NICK
(Startled)
Ohh. Priyanka, dear please don’t tell her anything,
I want to surprise her with the final results.
Priyanka shrugs and starts the act of cleaning, Nick, adjusts his clothes and moves out of the
room; from the audience, we reveal that he is hiding an expensive “Silver Pen” in his pocket.
CUT TO
INT/ MR. JONES HOUSE, AREA WHERE CCTV MONITORS ARE INSTALLED. DAY
We see a Huge Television screen, it is off, Nick enters inside, and he switches on a button in the
dashboard. The screen comes alive. It is the monitoring room of MAYOR’s House; here we can
see a CCTV point of view of many rooms, appearing on a huge screen.

Time-lapse shot of the sky, night becomes day.
EXT/ JOHN’S STUDY / DAY
Jones is sitting on the chair, a camera crew consisting of two LIGHT BOYS, CAMERAMAN,
and FEMALE REPORTER, in her early 20’s, is busy setting up the location. Mr. Jones is
summons PETER, a man in his early 50’s, decked up in the attire of “housekeeping in charge.
MR. JONES
Peter, please fetch my silver pen.
(To the Reporter)
The silver pen is my good luck charm… if
I win in this election…it will be the third
time when I will sign my oath paper with

the same expensive pen which I purchased
in an auction of “Buckingham Palace.”
They say that this pen is power.
FEMALE REPORTER
Then we should have a close up of this pen
and present it as the mighty sword of a
champion of noble causes.
Peter rummages through the drawer, but Pen is not there.
PETER
Mr. Jones, the pen is not present here.
MR. JONES
What ????
CUT TO
INT/ MR. JONES HOUSE, AREA WHERE CCTV MONITORS ARE INSTALLED. DAY
Mr. Jones, Mrs. Jones, DETECTIVE, a uniformed man in his late 40’s along with Peter,
Priyanka and Nick are standing.
DETECTIVE
Respected Mayor sir, we have checked the
entire footage, Peter was on a day off and
he didn’t visit this room for last three days.
You saw that pen day before yesterday.
MR. JONES
Why you are wasting my time sir, it is
easier than a cubic puzzle, just check the
footage and nab the culprit.
DETECTIVE
It is not easy Mr. Jones, someone has
switched off the CCTV cameras,

During the last two days, only you and
Priyanka Visited the room, this is why
we can't detect the culprit.
(Priyanka interrupts detective)
PRIYANKA
Yesterday, I saw Nick, inside the room.
Mrs. Jones Intervenes, she is agitated
MRS.JONES
You mean to say that my son will steal the
things inside his own house; his daily pocket
allowances are far higher than your salary.
(To Mr. Jones) I don’t want her inside this
house.
DETECTIVE
Mrs. Jones may be right, please ask your
son, we cannot frame her because she
didn’t leave this house since yesterday.
MR. JONES
Detective, I want this matter to be closed
here, see the footage, she is the last person
who made an entry in the room and she is
the thief.
Priyanka starts sobbing.
PRIYANKA
No, I am not, Nick …
Mrs. Jones intervenes
MRS JONES
Detective, please take her away, I don’t want to see her in this house.

Mrs. Jones is reading from her laptop and Mr. Jones is fidgeting with the pen.
MRS. JONES
Mayor of the city MR. Roderick’s Jones
felicitated the local police, especially
detective Malcolm who nabbed the
housemaid of Mayor House in the act of
stealing an expensive Silver Pen. During the
same day he confiscated the same pen from
a local buyer of the stolen article, the local
buyer told the police that a teenager sold this
expensive pen to him. The Police are now
busy in solving the nexus between the
mysterious teenager and housemaid
Priyanka.
The camera pans on to the table of Mayor where the printout of the same article related to
Kleptomania is placed. The mayor places the silver pen over this printout.
FRAME FREEZES
END CREDIT ROLLS.
