Ferocity Sports is a sports equipment manufacturing company which will be
manufacturing the variety of the different type of Cricket equipment and selling the same.
Ferocity Sports will be having the factory which will be manufacturing the variety of the different
type of sports equipment, Bat will be the primary product of the company in the market, batting
gloves, pad is another type of the sports equipment which will be manufacture in the factory.
Market investigation and Target customer base
At the time of investigating the market and selecting the venture I have conducted the survey in the
market. Survey was conducted with the help of third party outsourcing firm who have targeted 250
parents of age between 25-40.
Outcome of the survey, Looking at the outcome of the survey it was identified that most of the parents
were interested in diverting their children's career toward the sports field. Reason highlighted by most of
the participant was scope which is offered by sports field. Further asking about which sports do you like
your children to play and most of the respondent were toward the Cricket. As they would love their
children to represent the nation in national sports of the company.
After interpreting variety of the outcome which has been derived it was identified that customer with the
age group of 12-30 will be target customer base for the new product which company is looking to
introduce in the market. Hence company has decided to open up a venture which will be developing
different cricket Gear.

5.3 Key findings from field research – test trading:
We have conducted few of the survey from the different cricket academy on the basis of
the Questionnaire, key finding were that there was a positive response in term of the grip which
is being innovated by the company but there was some concern in term of Quality of Batting
Gloves, for the same reason something has to be done in context of the same.
Recommendation which was gather by us was in regards of having one more shield cover on
the gloves but in the first thought of the company it will increase the weight of the company. So,
anything new will be done in the context of the same in the organization to do the same in the
long run.
