In the present scenario, the rate of criminal activities is increasing rapidly. In the past few years,
the society has faced a number of criminal activities, which has affected them in several ways. In
the United Kingdom, the number of crime rates is quite high in comparison to other countries.
Therefore, the government and police force of the country requires taking severe actions in order
to reduce the crime rate in the country (Hales, 2018). In this assignment, the different methods
that the police force of the country makes use of in order to record the crime will be highlighted.
Furthermore, the information, which can be utilized in order to measure the performance and
trends of the police, will also be discussed. The project will shed lights upon the effectiveness of
the different ways of recording the criminal activities.
