1Criminal Justice System
The facts of the study state a robbery by a 21-year-old male at a convenience store
who ran away after the robbery, and the police could also not trace the robber due to the
inconsistent description of the cashier of the store and the poor quality of the store camera.
The primary aim of the study is to identify the probable cause to issue the warrant by the
police in order to arrest Smith and establish the Christian Worldwide Perspective as a support
of the discussion.
As per the facts, the criminal conducted the robbery and ran away. As per the
instance, the only evidence was the identification of the robber in order to prove the liability
of the crime (Institute, 2017). In this case, due to the inconsistent description of the robber
and the poor camera quality, the police could not identify the robber. The only clue the police
had was the Liberty university cap and the T-shirt. When the police found out that the sticker
of the university was present in Smith’s car, they showed his photo to the victim who was the
cashier of the store who quickly identified smith as the robber. Eyewitnesses are generally
considered as an essential part of proving someone’s offense or guilt and hence the police
shall issue an arrest warrant. In this case, by the application of the Christian worldview
perspective, it is clear that the motive of such theory is to believe that being humans are sinful
by nature and the primary purpose is to serve them with love in order for rehabilitation and
not punishment (Conrad & Thompson, 2016). By the implementation of law, possessing a
Christian worldview means safeguarding ethics as it is legally and workwise judicious, but
due to the desire of the police officer's to please God and stand by his term, he shall not issue
the warrant.
In conclusion, it can be stated that by the application of the Christian Worldwide
perspective, law enforcement does not have any probable cause to get the arrest warrant for
Smith.
