This research proposal critically analyzes the impact of institutional racism on the Criminal Justice System in England and Wales. It investigates whether the system, influenced by racial discrimination and stereotypes, fails to deliver justice and fairness. The study examines legislation, guidelines, statistical data, and government information to identify any changes made to eradicate racism. The research aims to analyze the effectiveness of legislation in protecting individual rights, investigate flaws in the system related to racism, and assess the justice and fairness of the judiciary. The methodology involves a deductive approach with a descriptive research design, utilizing secondary data collection. The conclusion emphasizes the need for more effective laws and guidelines to prevent racism, and for the judiciary to take more effective steps to address racism, acknowledging its negative impact on justice and fairness within the Criminal Justice System.
