INTRODUCTION
Criminal law is a law that covers various concepts of crime and also has certain elements
in it. Theft and burglary are also part of it.
Key things learned during last two weeks
This has taught me about the concept of criminal law. In this I have also learned about the
elements involved in commitment of crime that is actus reus which means motive and mens rea
meaning intention. These are covered in relation to theft and burglary. Slight knowledge of
common law has lead to more enhancement over the subject and topic.
Relation of it over workplace and education
It has helped in improving my studies and to clear my assignments with appropriate
answers. Common law has also helped me to complete my practicals of law which are based
over this topic only. This has also lead in developing an interest in the subject which has made
me realised that I can become a criminal lawyer in future.
Personal and Professional Development
Study of various types of cases has lead to my personal development as I have started
gaining my command over the subject and is understanding it with more efficiency. This has
helped me in also enhancing my professional skills as it has lead to helped me in understanding
the cases in court during the time of internship that I have done. A vision of going into the filed
of litigation is developed within myself. As I have started liking the subject of criminal law.
Example regarding it
Due to study of case laws at the time of my internship and while studying. I have learned
how to apply these concept of crime in various situation. So, know I can help my family
members and people in locality who are facing any kind of problem related to these aspects.
Affect of it upon profession
I am going to develop my skills as a law student and is going to make myself an educated
lawyer. This kind of thinking has been enhanced inside me which is definitely going to help I
making my career as a better and successful lawyer.

What is known now not known earlier
Studying of these concepts has made me enhance myself regarding the concepts in details
and now I can give more appropriate answers to the questions asked to me. These has made me
know the difference between theft and burglary.
Impact of it over life
Now I see myself as an aware student of criminal law. Due to enhancement of these
concept my view point over judging people for a crime has changed and I can now be more
practical. My legal skills has developed at much faster level. Now I can deal with the similar
situation in appropriate manner.
