Victims of crime and criminal justice
In today’s world the best scale of judgment is the criminal justice system. It had a very important
role in our lives and it continues to revolve around our lives in the society which is full up of
dangers, evils and corruption. So this essay will basically be emphasized upon those who are
considered as the victim of crime and the criminal justice system. Getting justice against the
crime done is mandatory and if there would not had been any justice system then that very fine
line which is present between the crime and justice would not had existed.
The persons who are been called as the victims or the sufferers of crime, in our criminal justice
system, would then for not getting adequate justice turn up to become aggressive and further
criminals. Legal systems are very essential to prevent those crimes and save the world from
getting into chaos. There are many individuals in this system and each of them have a very
different role to play in the criminal justice systems. There are criminals who are considered as
the creator of unfortunate events for the victims and on the other hand there are also police,
courts and other systems who can provide justice to the victims of crime.
Those persons against whom the crime is done are called as the victims of crime and they are to
get justice essentially. The basic aim or the purpose behind formation of the criminal justice
systems are to provide or impose punishments such as punishment of sentencing the criminals
and satisfying the victims. There are a number of theories of punishment and sentencing, which
are served to reduce the crime in the world.
Thus to conclude with the above essay, it can be determined that the criminal justice is very
important to serve the victims of the crime and provide him with all required justice to prevent
him to become a criminal in the coming future.

In what ways can failure of justice undermine the human rights and criminal justice
system?
In this essay the basic focus will be upon ways in which the failure of justice system could
undermine the rights of the humans and the criminal justice systems in the today’s world.
Basically the legitimacy of the criminal justice system is works according to the ethics and all its
functions are based upon its effectiveness and fairness. Its effectiveness is judged by the ability
to detect and investigate the occurrence the crime, to identify the offenders and application of
appropriate sanctions upon those who are been convicted for offences.
Whereas fairness is to be judged by, the efforts which are made to redress the inequality held
between the suspect and the state at the stages of investigation, pretrial, trial and appeals. It can
its thoroughness. Wrongful conviction leads to two prongs within the legitimacy of the criminal
justice system. If a person is considered as a convict in wrongful manner, then the respective
person is said to be rebuked for an offence which is not committed by him/her, where the actual
preparatory of crime is still at liberty.
Criminal justice system is basically based upon that fundamental legal value where it is stated
that an accused is legally supposed to be innocent till trial is completed. If the justice system fails
then it can undermine the human rights.
Thus to sum up with the above it can be determined that he failure of justice system is very
dangerous for the society it can hamper the humankind and lead to undignified terror in the
society which as very dangerous for the society.
