Introduction
This is the report which is based on two articles and review over it. This report is based
on two articles which is required in terms of health care sector. With change in health care sector
activities, it will be easy for researcher to determine which article is relevant for understanding
this. In order to evaluate and understand changes, properly, there is change in activities as well
because of understanding of patients and other stakeholder (Chevalier and Buckles, 2019).
There is discussion about balancing every day life and recovery from mental health issues. These
article are related with qualitative and quantitative research method to conduct the investigation.
There is a case study as well based on Clinical Scenario in which there is discussion about
occupational therapist. With this there is proper analysis of understanding and determining
knowledge about occupational therapy and role which is placed by therapist. With this study,
knowledge about different used are considered and it is evaluated that which both of them will be
best. With understanding and determining changes, there will be use of complete and specific
information in future as well. This might be specific and relevant changes. With studying
different techniques, it will be easy for reader to evaluate and get in- depth information about it.
Question formation and the Search process
In this investigation, there is discussion about role of occupational therapist and it is not
easy for people to understand and determine changes in proper and effective manner. With
understanding and evaluating polices, it is easy for mental health trust to understand and
determine changes properly. Question for conducting this investigation is :
What is the role of occupational therapist in improving engagement of psychiatric diagnoses
patients?
There is discussion about understanding and determining ways through which activities
which are important for determining external market. This question is based on investigation
which is conducted in those research paper. When there is change in information, it will be easy
for readers to understand it. Occupational therapist is the way through which actions are
performed properly due to psychiatric diagnoses patients (Connolly, MacGabhann and
McKeown, 2015).
There are different processes which can be considered to study this because of change in
working operations and making changes in better and specific manner. There is proper

knowledge about understanding and determining changes, then it will be easy for people to
evaluate it. With accepting changes there will change in working operations as well because of
understanding and evaluating changes. In order to make changes possible, there is not easy for
people to understand and make changes in proper manner. Due to psychiatric diagnoses people
are not able to balance their life and maintain personal and professional events properly. Due to
psychiatric issue not only patient but all the society is suffering from it. With determining
changes and implementing it properly, there will assess of understanding changes properly
(Eklund, Tjörnstrand, Sandlund and Argentzell, 2017).
Critical appraisal of evidence
There are many techniques aspects are used because this makes study relevant and
specific. In order to determine and evaluate the ways of understanding and evaluating properly,
there will discussion about its relevance and use for making these article appropriate and
specific. In order to determine and understand the changes in better and specific manner, then it
is easy for people to judge which technique is better.
Sampling- Sampling is the procedure which is used by researcher for understanding and
evaluating some individuals for collecting their views. It is important and relevant because it is
not possible to collect information whole crowd and there is proper understanding about their
views in better and effective manner. As there are two methods of sampling i.e. probable and non
probable sampling. In both the research articles, convenience sampling method as a part of non
probability sampling is used because this gives authentic information from primary sources.
With collecting primary information, there will study of making changes in proper and
understanding changes in appropriate and specific manner. This sampling method is not
appropriate because of understanding and determining changes properly (Faulkner, 2017). There
is study of information which is collected from different individuals and it will be easy for
evaluating changes in appropriate and specific manner. In occupational therapy article, there will
selection of eight individuals, while in balancing everyday article, 133 candidates are selected.
Ethical issues- Ethical issues which arise in conducting these research are improper
planning, lack of direction and guidance, change in external environment factors, personal
conflict, improper planning, etc. These are the ways with which it is easy for managers to
evaluate and understand policies properly. There is lack of privacy because study is conducted
when people can communicate with each other and other party as well. So this affects

confidentiality of the people and make changes in business operations. With change in
understanding and evaluating policies properly, there will understanding about information
which is gathered through evaluating and understanding properly. There are some personal
conflicts as well due to which people are not able to understand what is right action and what has
to be done properly. Information about respondents are not considered by researcher because
they does not have relevant and appropriate information which has to be understood. While
conducting this study, information about respondents are evaluated and determined properly. If
there is change in activities, then respondents in both the articles will also gets affected. This is
improper way to communicate and understand policies properly (Fieldhouse, 2012).
Data collection- Data collection is important because on the basis of these information, it
will be easy for researcher to collect and analyse information. With collecting views about
psychiatric diagnoses patients from occupational therapist, then it will be easy for them to
understand about views of public and it is not easy for people to evaluate and determine it. In
article of balancing everyday life quantitative research method is used, while in occupational
therapy qualitative research method will be used. Under quantitative method, there will use of
proper research methods and techniques through which authenticity of study can be judged. With
use of technical methods and methodology which is relevant for understanding changes properly.
In article of balancing everyday life, quantitative method is used with 133 participants. This is
specific for evaluating and understanding properly. Primary sources of information is preferable
in this study because this actually provides information about mindset of other individuals
(Hitchen, Williamson and Watkins, 2015).
Data analysis: data analysis is conducted with evaluating and understanding different
themes and it is not easy for researcher to determine what is being study in this study. Proper
gathering and collection of information about psychiatric diagnoses patients and ways to react
by occupational therapist. There are small themes which are being asked by researcher to
determine what is being asked. Respondents which are selected for primary information sources
can understand more better when they get to know about themes and ways to evaluate it. There is
discussion about briefing through which they can share actual and relevant information. With
understanding what is being asked, it is easy for researcher to analyse ways which can be issued.
Conclusions made in the study: Conclusion in the study is important because this is the
source through which researcher select the way to determine and conclude it. As there is

complete study of matter, then researcher comes at some specific conclusion. Conclusion which
is collected from occupational therapy is:
it is analysed and clear that operations are performed with understanding the views and
thoughts of occupational therapist about psychiatric diagnoses patients. They have views that if
proper and positive environment can be provided to them, then it will be ayes for them to
determine and understand what better can be happen (Hitchen and Williamson, 2015). When
people are collaborative with psychiatric diagnoses patients, then they can maintain and motivate
themselves to provide better services. When there are setting of goals for psychiatric diagnoses
patients, they though that other people have confidence in them and they can perform better.
There is impact on their mental health, so it is not essential that self belonging and well being
can be maintained. It is important that patients who are suffering from psychiatric diagnoses ,
social, family and friends support is important because this motivates them to show their
intelligence and they also prefers to give best. This improves society and personal growth and
development of patients as well.
Conclusion from balancing everyday life is :
BEL events are organised to communicate and creating awareness about psychiatric
diagnoses and ways to deal with it. They have proper way to understand and justify the changes
properly. CAU group is better and specific because patients can get proper growth prospects and
it is not easy for them to understand and evaluate changes properly. Balance everyday life is
important because there is requirement of time as well as motivation through which actions can
be improved and betterment in resources can be resolved. It is important to consider changes
which are taking place in behaviour of such people because strategies for their betterment can be
maintained.
Internal validity: These studies are proper and relevant because of changing and dynamic
environment. But information which is collected from this method is exact and relevant. It is
easy for people to understand what is the best way to collect information and it has to be
collected in better and appropriate way (Kidd, Kenny and McKinstry, 2015). When researcher
analyse the study completely and it is easy for researcher to determine that collected information
is properly. When internal validity can be managed, then it is easy to get external validity too.
When reader consider these two articles, then it will be easy for them to rely over it because
information is collected from authentic and reliable sources.

External validity: There is requirement of external validity too because in case of
partiality and biasness mistake can be collected. This is the specified way to make study
appropriate. With change in views, there are possibilities of suspects and it is not easy for people
to understand it. With this validity, it is easy for researcher to make study authentic and can be
used for future prospects as well. In order to complete study in appropriate manner, there will
change in business activities and this is specific for acquiring knowledge about tools and
techniques.
Authenticity/Credibility/Transferability- While conducting study and collecting views
about health and social care, it is important that information which is presented have to be
authentic and relevant, so it can be used in future as well. This study can be used by researcher
about balancing everyday life and occupational therapists and their view about psychiatric
diagnoses patients , so it is specific and appropriate to determine changes (Kidd, Kenny and
McKinstry, 2015). With change in information, there are possibilities that activities are
conducted with proper check and in authentic manner. Research information is shared among
individuals who are relevant and have interest in knowing what has to be done. With change in
research outcome, it is essential that proper justification has to be provided so reader can
ascertain the way and reason behind it. Credibility can be maintained by using and making
changes in working style, so proper outcome can be managed and maintained.
With the help of this study, it is clear that both the articles are presented with
understanding and determining changes properly. Researcher have complete knowledge about
tools and techniques so it will be easy for people to determine the best and justified technique to
complete the study. In order to complete this study, there is requirement of determining the way
to complete the study. When all the techniques are provided with justification, then it will be
easy for researcher to determine the bet way to complete the study. Reader will make alterations
in operations, then it is easy for them to understand evaluate conclusions properly. This is the
best way through which research information can be gathered such as information about
qualitative and quantitative information, understanding different themes, issues of data analysis,
etc. This makes proper understanding about best technique to use it (Sælør, 2015).
Application of evidence to practice
Provided articles are related to health care and its impact on patients. There is complete
and specific study, so it will be easy for people to understand about occupational therapist and

that association have to determine changes properly. With understanding and making sources of
research methodology properly. There are many findings which are relevant and specific for
people to determine changes which has to made in their thinking ability and treatment with them.
With this study, there will ease in understanding and evaluating changes properly, then it will be
better for people to determine changes properly. Patients can perform their activities in more
better way and they get knowledge about privileges and preferences in better way. Patients get
ton know about ways through which they can improve their living standards and make situations
stable (Speers and Lathlean, 2015).
For researcher these articles are better because this creates an base for studying about
psychiatric diagnoses patients and occupational therapist. There is more better scope of
conducting study because people have proper knowledge about it. When information is collected
from these articles, there relevance is identified and authenticity will be checked.
For heath and social care organisation, there is requirement of proper understanding and
best way can be analysed through which they can be evaluated in appropriate and specific
manner. This makes changes in providing services and understanding what is the demand of
consumers. When whole department will work for psychiatric diagnoses patients , then they can
improve proper services about it as well.
In society, there are many other organisations such as medication, NGO, etc. which are
directly or in directly associated with it have to work in proper and appropriate manner. These
study assist them to make straetgeis with which they can provide better services to others. The
organisations are able to determine changes properly and it will be better to understand it.
For society, these studies are better because there is improvement in the condition of
psychiatric diagnoses patients. There is proper treatment to such people, so social growth and
development of society will be positive (Tang, Tse and Davidson, 2016).
Conclusion
From the above discussion, it is clear that there is requirement of determining and
understanding the situation of psychiatric diagnoses patients and role of occupational therapist
for improving their condition. This study will focus on balancing everyday life and it is easy to
evaluate it. There will ease in getting complete information about qualitative and quantitative
research methods and it is specific for making policies properly. It is important for researcher to

determine complete information about ways to collect information. This makes ease in
determining changes properly. With these articles, psychiatric diagnoses patients, society, health
care and other related organisations in proper manner.
