INTRODUCTION
Information systems refers to a software which provide support organise, maintain, store
and process the data. Many organisations are required to manage large amount of information
and use a part from them on regular basis as per need of operations and administration (Kembro
and Näslund, 2014). The present report is based on Latureae that is known as health and wellness
company with difference in order to bring appropriate health to everybody. This assignment will
focus on determining primary and secondary activities in Latureae business model along with
their sub- activities. It will include Porter's value chain model including major and sub- activities
in Latureae business model.
MAIN BODY
Primary and secondary activities in Latureae business model
According to the given case, Latureae is a healthcare organisation having a purpose
provide services for improving wellness of people. They have a goal to develop products and
services to deliver a natural approach to health based on in- depth expertise in vitamins,

minerals, herbs & nutrients. However, they focus on improving wellness by providing better
goods full of vitamins and nutrients.
Primary activities
Inbound logistics – This can be described as activity of bringing raw material for
facilitating production process in smooth manner. (Hampton and et. al., 2013) It involve the
concept of increasing the quality of raw material which provide support to manufacture better
products and satisfy actual health requirements of people in effective way in Latureae.
Operations – The operational activities and procedures are key of producing desired
products which are required to be improved for developing better quality of product in time

advertising, promotional activity and persuading people to buy and sales support for customers.
The sub activities are divided into three categories such as direct, indirect and quality
assurance in primary whereas supportive consist firm infrastructure, human resource
management, technological development and procurement that is responsible creating value for
primary activities. However, supportive activities can be considered as value creating activities
which provide help to primary processes in order to conduct operations properly in Latureae. In
addition to this, value creating activities which should be connected to the framework of value
chain in order to increase competitive advantage for Latureae in market. However, it can be
considered as time consuming and crucial criteria to be carrying out in appropriate manner. For
