Introduction
The following paper attempts to put forth a critical evaluation of the article entitled “Hate
Cannot be Tolerated”. The article was composed by a professor of law in the University of
Pittsburgh, Richard Delgado. The author in this article attempts to shed light on the impact of the
violent and verbal attacks on the students who tend to face the offensive slurs and attacks on the

cowardice that is expressed by the concerned person through the delivery of the threat mails and
