Introduction
The paper provides reflection on the work of group presentation and also discuss various
management theories that are effective for the reflection paper. The paper also provides
reflection on the decision-making process along with the group formation process for preparing
the presentation.
Reflection
The group presentation that was performed in the academic activity is quite impressing and
effective as the team members are all known to me. In most of the time, it can be seen that
working with the group that also in college and university is quite challenging. This is due to the
fact that decision making is quite difficult for the group members. The preparation of group
presentation provides a view on the working concept of various people in the group (Azadnia et
al., 2015). The first stage that is being utilized in the presentation is the formation of the group
and for this Tuckman model was used. The model has four stages and they are forming,
storming, norming and performing (Fiore, and Georganta, 2017). Forming the first stage where
the team is assembled as well as the task is being distributed. Then the second stage of Storming
is obtained where the entire team addresses the task by suggesting various ideas (Natvig, and
Stark, 2016). This phase helps me to build up a suitable relationship with the other team
members. The third stage is the norming where the team members start to resolve their issues.
And the fourth stage is the performing where the hard work is essential to the team members.
In the teamwork for preparing the presentation the most difficult phase is to obtain a suitable
decision for the presentation. In this entire group member came up with the view that majority
opinion will get the priority regarding the process of decision making. In this system of a
majority opinion, 1% difference will have the great value for the decision-making process
(Romiszowski, 2016). The scientific management theory provides the view that the decision is
made with the help of particular data and information (Waring, 2016). This help the organization
to make an effective decision for the firm. This theory helps me and all the team member to
make an effective decision regarding the various facts within the presentation. From this group
work, it helps me to develop a suitable process for communication along with decision-making
process within the field. The theory of human relationship management provides the view on a
need of the workers along with the need of the company adopting various policies (Gond et al.,
