INTRODUCTION
Midwifery practice is mainly associated with a value that only mainly guides the manner in
which midwife provide significant care. They are most appropriate care providers in which they
attend women during the period of birth, pregnancy, labour and the post natal period. It has been

patients and contribute their effort in delivering healthcare priorities. Nurses and midwife plays

division of health system. Main motive of this practice involve practices in which effective care
as well as services is being provided. In United Kingdom midwifery status is higher compared to
other countries, they deliver excellent services with individualized care, safe and high quality in
every time and every woman. This country welcomes diversity without making any variation in
midwifery outcomes and standards. In terms with case loading it is termed as practice in which

Present research analysis is being conducted on the objective of using midwife care
characteristics model in the world as well as in Iran and make investigation of its challenges

challenges faced at the time of application and designing of this care models in Iran. It has been

of the most efficient way through which high quality services is being provided to women with
the choice of childbirth and delivery method. This is enhancing quality care system and
satisfaction of women in a well defined and effective manner. They are number of application of
midwifery care model is being done that enhance knowledge culture and believe of each region.
This model is becoming one of the most effective measures for constant protection and safety is
being provided to mother during childbirth.
According to the definition of international confederation of midwife it has been identified that
midwife is mainly defined as an individual who is authorised with this responsibility of midwife

identified that midwife practice requires proper examination and monitoring of pregnant woman,
exercising their requirements, write care plans, carry screen testing and provide emotional
support to women during their pregnancy period. Thus with the help of having leadership
qualities midwife practices can be conducted in a well defined and effective manner. It is
essential to be a good midwifery leader to communicate the vision with others while encouraging

accomplish midwife roles and responsibilities with full potential. With the help of these
leadership qualities efficient care can be provided to women’s in more efficient manner.
Leadership quality will effectively facilitate to conduct roles and responsibilities in a formative
manner with high competencies. It has been identified that with the help of transformational
leadership styles midwifery leaders can effectively encourage and influence other individual and

enforced by UK legislations with an aim to protect the public and promote efficient high-quality
and standard practices to support this profession. Along with this it is essential for a good
advisory leader to conduct roles and responsibilities and guidance to other individual with value
in order to have high quality emphasize upon providing services to mother and baby. Midwife is
one of the most important roles that have been played by nurses and midwives in which they
provide high quality eternity care for women in a well-defined an effective manner. In addition
to this with help of different skills and efficiency midwife provide high quality care in which
