AI Summary
This essay provides a critical evaluation of NASA's Global Climate Change website, assessing its validity and reliability based on the information presented. The analysis considers the evidence provided by the website, including data on global temperature rise, ocean warming, ice sheet shrinkage, and sea-level increase. It also examines the credibility of NASA as a source and whether the information is consistent with current scientific understanding. The evaluation also addresses potential biases and confirms that the website provides credible and unbiased information supported by research outcomes, making it a valuable resource for further study on climate change.

CRITICAL EVALUATION
Climate Change is the most debating topic of the world with contradictory view points
from both the believers and the non believers even after having considerate evidence of the
phenomenon. This article will review the website of the “Global Climate Change NASA” which
provides credible information about the ongoing phenomenon of Global Climate Change. The
changing climate of the world is not a deception but a reality which would be best addressed
with acceptance of the fact by the global leaders than ignoring it. The website provides reports
and evidences that confirm the occurrence of Climate Change across the globe. The website
claims that in the last 650,000 years there had been seven cycles of glacial advance and retreat
and the modern climate era was believed to have started in around 7000 years from now. The
website gives an immense detail into the factors that are responsible for global climate change
along with the shift in the Earth’s orbit which accounts for differential absorption of the solar
energy.
The website provides the reasons that are responsible for the increasing change in the
behaviour of the climate. The most important evidences that prove that the climate of the earth is
changing has been attributed to the ‘Global Temperature Rise’, the warming of oceans, shrinking
ice sheets, reducing polar ice caps, decreased snow cover, an increase in the sea level, increased
number of extreme events and ocean acidification. These occurrences in the nature have been the
result of Climate Change which is impacting the environmental system along all of its ecological
chain.
The website provides credible source of information and has provided references for the
claim that has been made in the website. The website has drawn analysis from various datasets
that have been analysed through the tools and a temporal analysis has been done to understand
the increasing pattern of the global temperature, the carbon concentration, the rate of ozone

depletion and the decreasing ice cover along with increasing sea level. The website belongs to
the international space organisation NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration),
which have been working on the planet Earth since its inception. They have the most credible
information and research on the changing patterns of the earth and therefore the information
available in the website is trustworthy. The website being a research organization’s
communication is not biased or influenced in any means as all information and data provided is
supported through the research outcomes that have either been done by NASA itself or have
been contributed by any counterpart of the organisation.
The growing resentment among the common people about the change in climate is
growing owing to the various outcomes of the climate. The alarming rise in temperature or the
depleting Ozone, the increased number of extreme events and the most importantly the rising sea
level are a reality and is not based on mere observations or assumptions. Thus it can be
understood that the website provides original information with respect to Climate change and the
environment and can be referred to for further study and research.
