INTRODUCTION
The report aims to provide a critical review on the overall project which has been
completed on employee’s payroll. There are various problems have been identified in this project
which is going to reflect in this report. Also, how the group has managed to perform all the
project activities and what consequences had to face during working is also going to discuss. The
report will show some of skills which have developed through working over the project and how
it can be improve in the future.
MAIN BODY
Progress of the project:
From the starting day of the project, first there was a lot of confusion about analysing the
project aims and objectives. The managerial challenge which reflect on the stagnation pay rates
and long-overdues which creates problems for both employees and organisation is lead to require
a proper study about the organisation purpose, structure and functioning. In the group, we first
manage to divide the work in equal manner so that project aims will get completed positively.
Therefore, we have managed to analyse all the industry characteristics which has done by one
team member. The relationship between shareholder, payment ratio and managerial challenges
have identified by other group member. Also, the research methods and approaches have carried
out by remaining team member. So, this is how the work has managed in the team in order to
solve the managerial problems and look upon its improvements. All these tasks have done
properly, though, it was quite time taking but through co-ordination and being a leader, giving
good guidance played important role in project completion.
Problems faced
The problems have identified in employee management are pay rates, long working
hours, not paying enough to the employees and ineffective compensation are the main problems
find out during the project. It is due to using ineffective payroll software which do not show the
exact employees performance in the company. Legal conflicts are also main of the critical
problem. The four team’s members are not specialised in the field of research and analysing the
legal protocols therefore, one member has its strength that he knows about the standards legal
provision which must be followed by company but he does not have good research approach to

provide findings. The 3rd group member has good coordination and problem solving skills which
helped him to give recommendations and give appropriate findings to the project. His weakness
is that, he do not have good communication skills due to which he lacks in interacting with
people in relation to communicate about project ways. I am the team leader who manages to
monitor and guide each and every action of the project. So, I have good communication skills
through which I can give clear guidance and influence my team for working hard. I am weak in
problem solving attitude as I require much time to analyse the problems and then provide best of
the solution but it did not work at the time project making due to deficiency in time.
Evaluation of success
The project have attained success in terms of analysing the overall issues in order to mange
employees which is suffered by the company. Therefore, it has identified how rewards and good
pay impact on the performance of employees through which employees get motivated. Also,
impacts of promotions, good work conditions are also have significant impact.
Performance evolution
There are various challenges that take place while working in group. Being a leader of the team it
becomes difficult to manage the performance of all the employees. It is evaluated that the some
of the members were not ready to cooperate. Along with that there was problem of
miscommunication seen in project. I was unable to understand the capability of the members. So,
then I told them to conduct there SWOT analysis so that I am able to know about there areas of
strengths. I assigned them work according to their capabilities. The overall tasks were divided
and then time was also allocated to the members. A proper schedule helped me to divide the
overall activity. Then each person was assigned the work. I keep on asking them about issues of
they face. Along with that there is need to analyse the progress made by each member. At that
time all the team members agreed to the tasks and I guided them at each and every level. By
motivating the team members I was able to achieve success. All the employees completed there
work on time and that is a reason that we were able to solve the issues mentioned in the project. I
have analysed that leader plays a major role in completing the project that is being assigned,
There is key role of leader, but the support of the team members assist in achieving the
objectives and tasks effectively.

Areas for personal improvements
In future aspects, I will conduct proper management. I will use a problem solving steps so
that there is issue in the middle of the project. I have understood that there is need of proper
planning and implementation. All the members must be cooperative. Being a leader there is need
of good and effective management so that I am able to complete the desired work. I have also
analysed that in future first of all I will take suggestion of all the team members so that better
solution for the problem are analysed. At the same time there is requirement of managing the
work of the members and assigning them time. The time limit are deadlines that must be
followed by the members of the group. Regular motivation will help the members in team to
achieve success.
Collective problem solving skills development
There is need of various skills that are being developed at the time of doing the project.
These skills will help me in future while undertaking projects like this. The key skills are as
follows:
Communication skills: I am able to enhance my communication skills. There is need to
interact with all the team members so that goals of team are achieved effectively. The
coordination is related with communication. It is analysed that communication skills help to
complete the group task effectively.
Team working skills: After doing this team project, I am able to enhance my team
working skills. It is seen that in the starting of the project there were problems, but my managing
the work I am able to develop team working skills.
CONCLUSION
The report has concluded about the critical review on the overall performance of the team
in order to achieve project aims and objectives. Therefore, coordination, problem solving and
communication skills has developed and require more concentration in future.
