A Case for Critical Social Work (CSW) Action
There has been a rise in the popularity of the Critical Social Work or widely known as the
CSW, though the policies revolving around it or even the praxes as such are just rambling
around and none of them have actually been put to use or regulated strictly. Now the factors
that affect the working of the social workers largely are their attitudes towards the kind of
work they do, even the training as well as education pose as a very important factor that
influences or even hinders for that matter their working. Another aspect that can be
considered here is the kind of people or the organizations that have been hiring them and the
thought process they preach everything inflicts upon the nature and the way these workers
behave and work.
The surrounding in which these social workers or activities have grown up and the way they
relate themselves with the kind or work they do everything plays a very important part in how
these people perceive their jobs and it can be seen in their actions as well. In the said article it
has been clearly mentioned that CSW or the Critical Social Work is not into regular practice
of individuals, there are certain drawbacks to the process or to be emphasised upon
hindrances in following it through like a practice. As far as the critical thinking goes, the
CSW without any fail can become a usual practice as such due to the intrinsic characteristics
it beholds and also another thing that needs consideration here is the connection between the
Social Work Profession and these intrinsic characteristics if the abovementioned factors are
taken care of. The main thing that is being discussed in the whole article is the guiding
principles so as to promote the social work action that is quite critical which is also widely
known as the CSWA. These guiding principles largely rely upon as well as are quite
influenced by the ideologies of the Paulo Freire and his genuine pedagogical action. These

governments do not assist them as they would assist a legal citizen of the country. The orders
as given under the guidance of the Trump Administration have in fact worsened the situation
in the country revolving around these people. These orders have undermined the importance
as such of the support these people need and the assistance that these people should be
provided. Though there is a constant scholarship dearth as such this is based upon the

minimum evidence that these programmes provide which actually help in the vulnerable
children being protected.
Though as far as the critical thinking goes, these challenges are not at all new and have been
a part of the society since the beginning of the time. Similar to these, challenges have been
faced and this particular challenge is also being rendered to in various countries. Previously
as well as in the current times, these issues related with the need of the population have been
resolved by these social workers through the private as well as state interventions. A few

attributes of UAC and the scope of requirements they showed; (2) winning perspectives
