INTRODUCTION
Discipline of the CSR broadens responsibility of the business organization beyond their
obligation to the stockholder- to environment and society. It refer to belief that a
business have obligation to the society beyond their commitments to their investors or
stockholders. Additionally, in order to generate profit, firms are expected to have few
responsibilities to the stakeholders such as customers, communities, environment and
employees (Akpoja, 2022). CSR mainly include improving labor practices, corporation
being economically responsible, mitigating environment damage, embracing fair trade
and increasing employee satisfaction. In favor of the CSR, critical thinking is very
essential as it help to understand the structure and other competitive advantages. This
report will include the purpose of applying the critical thinking to given case study,
understanding of critical thinking skills by ascertain claims made in the respective case
study and evaluation ideas which are expressed in case study based on understanding
and research of that topic.
Purpose of applying critical thinking to the given case study
Critical thinking is an analysis of any situation or issue and facts, evidence or data related

Moral obligation- It is essential for business to give back to communities and country that
provide them an opportunity to get success. The companies should contribute in economy
by fulfilling their CSR. They need to contribute in society by providing them a safe

on the environment. In this case study, it is claimed that the investor should also contribute in the
corporate social responsibility. Many companies in the world face a growing pressure for
becoming environmentally and social responsible, more accountable to their shareholders and
stakeholders and to conduct their business ethically. They are expected to have positive impact on
society by promoting sustainable and inclusive growth. In this it is claimed that why a company
pay to be socially responsible in the business. Therefore it is determined tat greater power comes
with greater responsibility. If an organisation has achieved high success in business then that

A company need to think critically for deciding that what their CSR goals are. Organisation must
ask those tough questions in order to determine that what reason they want to accomplish a
corporate social responsibility. In these position, company’s manager must be very clear and plan
strategically in order to develop their CSR programme successfully. For instance what are their
ethical responsibility? They must do what is right and practise to avoid any harm. Manager
should argue in the favour of company’s responsibility and if they are not able to express that why
they believe in the corporate social responsibility, they won’t convince other people that they

enthusiasm to convince others. They should think critically and motivate other people that they
should also take participate in CSR.
It is analyzed that the CSR is something which is very important, but it is also often overlooked.
Companies believe that in order for the CSR to be a successful passion an sense of the purpose are
needed. If workers want to participate then they must have the passions. To be very successful
company has to use their critical thinking (Little, 2022).
Company need to think critically about what their arguments in the favour of corporate social
responsibility is. If they cannot express that why they believe in the CSR then they are not going
to be able for convincing others that they should believe in. In this study it is also claimed that
why a company should be socially responsible? In this, it is critically examined that mostly
organisation view the corporate social responsibility as integral part of their respective brand
image, believing that buyers will like to do business with their brands that they have perceived to
be more ethical. Therefore, the activities of CSR can be important factors of the corporate public
relation and at this same time, some firms founder are also get motivate to engage in the corporate
social responsibility due to their personal convictions (Liu and Wu, 2022).

The corporate social responsibility is very crucial for the organization; they perform their
operational activity in such a way that is not harmful for the society and environment as well. In

social responsibility. There are different ideas are suggested which are discussed below:
Moderns’ organizational large footprint highlights their potential to have positive impact on the
environment and society if right motives, institution, incentives and people are in place. To
mitigate the environmental deterioration, companies need to work to minimize their environmental
footprint. Incentives for the corporate social responsibilities are considered as an effective tool for
the managerial compensation plan. In this they strengthen executive compensation contract’s
ability in order service shareholders inertest if the financial performance incentives already exist.
At workplace, peoples should be motivated and encourage so that they can understand their
responsibility toward society and environment in which they leave. They must be aware about

(Logan, 2022).
Once an organization identifies cause, give workers time to make difference. Consider allowing
time off for the opportunities which are mentioned below:
joining charity run
volunteering at the local food bank
working on the habitat for humanity house

In last some years mostly organizations have set themselves ambitious target and goals in order to
build the sustainable future. Market is becoming very sophisticated and able to detect when a firm
says more than they actually does (Manfredi-Sánchez, 2022).
The companies should invest their time in managing the relationship between society and
business. They report externally and internally on quality of those partnership that make them
more transparent, accountable and proactive during engaging with stakeholders.
Organizations should communicate effectively about long run and the persuade long term
investors for investing in company’s stock. As if their investor will invest tin the company’s stock
then company will earn more and it will also help the organization to fulfill their corporate social
responsibility (Stewart, 2022).
Companies that commit to being environmentally and socially responsible to measure the
information which are related to the key stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, employees and
to enhance credibility of all these measures by using their auditing procedure. Organizations

which it is operating. A company can fulfil their social responsibility b y proving employment to

society. Therefore, it is suggested to firms and all business that they should practice in such a way
that will not harmful for the society and also fulfil their responsibility towards the society
efficiently.
