Summarise three models of critical and creative thinking
The Calvin Tyalor creative thinking model is mainly representing the talent areas as
productive thinking, communication planning, forecasting and decision-making. This model
incorporate with critical & creative thinking. In order to develop the ability of productive
thinking, communication, planning and decision making.
According to Bloom’s Taxonomy conceives as critical thinking model and basically used
in the teaching. This model has been continues to influence learner and teacher where they were
exchanging the information or data. On the basis of this model, it supports to learn new
information and concrete situation to solve problem in best possible manner.
The Beyer’s evaluating thinking model, it may reflect on the critical thinking of individual
person. In order to improve the ability or capability for making an important decision. It
encountered an obstacle to prefer the best possible situation or condition (Dewanto, Agustianto
and Sari, 2018). In context of teaching, it can develop critical thinking ability of learner where
they can understand the meaning of new information.
Five characteristics of critical and creative thinking
 Observation- it is one of the most common characteristics of critical and creative
thinking, as learn student. It is ability to perceive and understand the entire world.
 Objectivity- it is able to stay as objective as possible when looking at the certain situation
or condition (Latta, Hanson and Middleton, 2017). This type of characteristics is focused
on the evaluation of information and possible way to keep maintain emotions.
 Analytical thinking- it is the best characteristic of critical and creative thinking which
means that learner can use their ability to analyse information whether it is a contract,
report and business model.
 Identifying Biases- when a learner can use critical thinking to identify evidence that
forms their belief and assess whether or not.

 Determining relevance- one of the one characteristics of creative and critical thinking in
order to figure out the relevant information. This type of characteristics will support to
perform logical relevant to issue or problem.
Features of critical thing skills such as analysis, synthesis & evaluation
Critical thinking skills are basically consider as an ability to analyse and evaluate
information. Afterwards, it will be generated the result or outcome.
The higher level of thinking include analyzing information, synthesis and evaluating

Informal learning environment is define the overall procedure of learning and create a
systematic structured formal classroom but in case of informal, it comes in different forms such
as viewing videos, self-study, participating in forums, chat rooms and performance.
Best practices approach for instruction of teams & individuals in critical thinking
In context of teaching, critical thinking is one of the best approach with target students
because they are crucial for living life. As such every teacher is looking for integrating with
student in classroom (Sari and Hidayat, 2019). At that time, it should be used the best practices
approach in term of instruction of team & individual in critical thinking.
 Creative a foundation- in this approach, student cannot think critically, if they do not
have a proper information or data. When starting a session where it would require an
enough research to gather, collect relevant information in proper manner.
