REFLECTIVE REPORT
Present project is based on the Podcast Cross cultural management that have been
assigned to me through my professors which I had to submit with my team members. Given
report is result of collective efforts of whole groups performing different project requirements as
well as demands. From mentioned information, there are different lessons that can be attained to
help a person like me and other team members to develop and sustain at the best level. It has
become cause of the better and effective experience which gained through the personal and
professional skills (Lakshman, 2013). In regards to this, there is a requirement to learn more
from reports which have been attempted in given assignment. Through this assignment, I taught
different practical and theoretical learnings to performing podcast report. Under given
assignment, there are some issues faced by company in Tanzania discussed.
Description
Through this given assignment, I learned about the podcast and cross culture that plays a
necessary role in conducting the business at global level. It has taught me various facets and
principles of contingency learning as well as helping me to effectively implement organizational
structure. I discussed about the main issues which company face during business expansion and
these are Organisational Culture, communication, negotiation, diversity, ethics and CSR. To
improve and express work performance and inspire individuals innovative ideas as well as
expectations that assist in completion of work (Lin, Chen and Song, 2012). Not only the
completion of the project taught me personal development but this has also taught me strengths
and weaknesses of entire team members that can recognise different issues and concerns. Under
this, I have always believe to working in company that expanding contrast to working in
different culture that is complex to migrating from US based Hydro generation firm to setting
main dam project in Tanzania and it is one of the most challenging projects. This project helped
me in providing the understanding that team work skills not only assist to achieve proper and
innovative projects but also help to improve the quality of work within an organization. It is
more efficient approaches that any person, group or firm can optimize. This also prevents loss of
the group members if the project was failure whether it is related to financial and other. Team
working practices has helped me and team members to be diverged through assisting perception
in significant manner.

There are several limitation if working in a team that can be discipline growth and finish
whole project. It can lead to the miscommunication and misinterpretation while conveying the
message that can generate risk in future. Other than this, I faced several issues while set up the
business structure of developing dam in Tanzania as this hinder me in many placed and
developing the construction phase is necessary project and also constructed properly with in
specific time period and budget. In many ways, send the book that the actions performed through
firm can have many repercussion in project of developing dam in the Tanzania that solved
through many philosophical values (Matsumoto and Hwang, 2013). I wanted to stay in the
Tanzania and this made me think regarding the professional training for myself and better
experience with having the cost for country. Local development and problems at power plant that
I thought was necessary concept that led to the local people and government authorities which
actually gaining proper support over there. Other issues arise related to higher resources from
local that will assist me in having the better income in products and the customers which would
save more money in immigration permitting process in different country.
Evaluation
Under this, I had to evaluate the comfortable zone for local people or those which
working in the Tanzania as only I was responsible for operating the structure and the many
managers and also their activities related to start-up of obtaining licence to getting
communication and many utilities which were in my supervision. In regards to this, I needed to
make project in proper manner and workable in environment so any kind of hindrances will
cause while facing complexities and also support will be in case of the troubles. Construction of
Dam required more capital amount and problems are faced through continuous bribing of
project. Other than this, there are many aspects within team which were favourable for project.
For an example, each team member select role which they could play. Each person is responsible
to fulfil their responsibilities. Related to case study, interpretation of information was done in an
appropriate manner and various analysis formed through each team members supported to collect
wider framework to examine and determine factors for podcast ( Moore, 2015). The theories
related to each concepts and issues has been implemented through me for better understanding.
There has been develop the proper solutions about the arisen issues related to conducting the
business at global level. The communication of each team member is constant to connect with
social media and meetings to connect with progress with each other and complete activities on

set time period. On the other hand, there were some of the factors which improved in future to
get included in same project. Like, conflicts were arise many times that develop negative impact
on decision-making. Every team member was able to be move according to their understanding,
to travel in different ways. There was grave lack of the leadership within the community that
requires to be improved in the future. Time management is another part of the community role
which requires to be improved in future (Özkazanç-Pan, 2015).
Conclusion
From the examination, I can concluded that one need to precise regarding selecting where
to be expand company to develop projects to understand cultural background and well as people
belief about areas so that issues can not be faced again. It can correct fact that one requires to be
understandable in proper manner about ideas and adopt many philosophies that are applied
directly through the function of such a position. It can be carefully obtained that complexities can
not be solved simply through acknowledging the culture one has two integrated their own output
according to their needs. Problems related to having budget set for the everything and problems
that came from the world for an instance tax issues for taking the general resources from home
country and also likely immigration related problem that made costing of project within limited
time frame and the company's budget (Romani and et. al., 2018).
Action
The action that taken up or I select to execute in such a place was need to understand
every aspect of company that I did not want to go back eventually to home country because I
began to learn or understand their language working ways and also culture of country. It was
impossible for me to understand all the factors as well as discriminate differentiation in culture
which were causing more issues to completing project. In regards to this, way under which
understand and develop a problem that had to be addressed and until and these searches are made
that can not establish business or develop better opportunities to have business in that location.
Action plan that would work in company to setup in various country can be the positive mindset
and developing the better opportunities to search opportunities and neglecting hurdles. Issues and
tribe culture concerned to ethics need to understood through company to move on the basis of
needs (Stahl and Tung, 2015).
