INTRODUCTION
Cross culture the executives breaks the idea of independence and advances the idea for
universalism. In cross culture the executive’s organizations advance the representatives who
have a place with various culture and districts. The organizations incorporate the distinctive
culture into association which likewise advances solidarity and decent variety. An organization
which is wanting to introduce itself all around or introducing itself all inclusive, it needs to adjust
such culture for its development and achievement reason. This report has taken an example of a
company, Tompkins. Tompkins is an industry which is engage into the business for
manufacturing the pipes, Brass, fittings equipments and the so on.
This report discusses about my experiences with related to the cross cultural along with some of
my personal goals and objectives. This report also includes the challenges and roles of cross
cultural environment in a company
TASK 1
Description of experience
As a manager I had a responsibility to establish the cross culture environment into the
work and company environment. Establishing such environment demands me to plan all my
steps strategically so that I can play a role model for the people when it comes for cross cultural
environment. Being at the manager position I made a lot of rules and regulations which helps in
encouraging the cross cultural into the work place. I initiated the open communication and
structure so that any issues or problem arises can reach to me directly and I can take the
corrective measures at the right time. Proper implementation of strategies and training programs
where the concept for cross cultural being taught to the employees has helped me in early and
speed establishment for this process (Caligiuri and Tarique, 2016). We have successfully
achieved this concept into our organization environment through the proper uses of tools and
learning programs. Here and now the structure and the system of the company has set in such a
way that it properly follows the cross cultural environment. The open communication proved to
be a great help for the company as any issue arises would get solved at that time only. . ,
Reflection
As a global company, my job is to creating an environment which is compatible for the
global environment and competition. My goal is to establish a comfortable environment for cross
cultural into the organization. For that I myself need to take various actions like I have created an
open communication environment where anybody can communicate with me, the
implementation of strategies in which can encourage such concept and so on. At the initial time I
did face some of the failure as the support from the office employees were nil. This was very
much a depressing thing coming from the employees as they were not very much participative
into this concept. Later I have to be very strict and made strategies in which I have planned to
implement rules and regulations regarding that. I made it compulsory for everyone to join the

learning sessions which I able to organized into the office. In that learning sessions the
importance and necessity for adopting the cross culture was clearly stated. This was proving to
be a great help for us (Heidekrueger and et al., 2017). Later on after analyzing the importance the
employees were also became very participative and starts encouraging the concept into the
company. .
Influencing factors
For establishing the concept for cross cultural was both due to internal and external
factors. External factors may include:
Global business environment: The global company to run and operate at a global level has to
adopt this culture for cross culture. This is an external factor because the company has no control
upon changing in this particular factor. The companies have to follow up this concept if they
want to survive into the market place.
Need for companies: It has become a need for the companies to build up their structure in such
a way that it adopts the cross culture. The companies which do not accept concept are not
preferred by the employees itself, which is a big loss for the company as it affects the reputation
of the company.
The internal factors are:
New and innovative ideas: the Cross culture or diverse workforce helps the company in
bringing the new and innovative ideas into the company. This will ultimately help the company
in becoming the excellent into their operational activities. The diverse workforce helps in
bringing fresh blood into the organization (Kim, 2017).
Learning’s
A lot of learning I got to acquire from this concept. For establishing this concept properly
into the organization I myself have learned about a lot about the cross cultural environment and
how to establish the same into an organization. This has gained a lot of knowledge about the
concept which was a merit for me as I am the one who would go to establish this concept. In
learning I gained the knowledge about the importance of the concept and how to implement it
into the organization. I also have gained the practical knowledge about the concept as it was I
only who have to implement the concept very carefully. The theoretically I also have gained a
deep knowledge about the topic which has enabled me to solve any issues which may arises in
the process (Lyu, Du and Rios, 2019).
