ASSUMPTIONS
The scenario of the Clinic is being explained with the help of a Crow Foot Diagram that is
drawn on draw.io (Li et al., 2017). The design made contains seven entities named as Clnt,
BookingOfTrtmnts, Trtmnts, Appntmnts, Thrpsts, Data_Record and Pay. Each entity consists
of a Primary Key that uniquely identifies its entities. C_ID in Clnt, B_ID in
BookingOfTrtmnts, T_code in Trtmnts, Th_ID in Thrpsts, A_ID in Appntmnts, R_ID in
Data_Record and at last P_ID in Pay are defined as the Primary Keys. Also, the relationships
are shown in the design as One to Many relationship is present between Clnt and
BookingOfTrtmnts, Trtmnts and BookingOfTrtmnts, BookingOfTrtmnts and Appntmnts,
Thrpsts and Appntmnts and BookingOfTrtmnts and Pay. One to one relationship is shown
between Appntmnts and Data__Record. As Trtmnts and Appntmnts form many to many
relationship, so it is removed with one to many relationship between Trtmnts and
BookingOfTrtmnts, BookingOfTrtmnts and Appntmnts. Foreign Keys are also defined in this
design as they are referenced from various tables. Foreign Keys present are TH_ID, R_ID,
A_ID, B_ID,T_ID and C_ID.

CROW’S FOOT DESIGN
Figure 1: Crow's Foot Design
The Crow Foot Design is made on draw.io. The scenario of the Clinic is explained here with
the help of different entities showing one to many as well one to one relationship among
them. Primary Keys and Foreign keys are assigned to the proper suitable attributes. Many to
Many relationships are also being kept in consideration in order to avoid it in the design (Gu,
X., & Cai, H. 2019). Many to Many relationship is resolved here. The scenario is of Organic
Pastures Clinic that provides different treatments by different therapists to the clients are
represented here.
