The success of the the business depends upon the performance of the employee.
Organizational performance can be one of the tools that measures the actual output of the
firm which complies the work process and activities to achieve the goals and objectives
(Yadav, Shankar and Singh, 2020). In this report, Crystal Travel has been taken into the the
consideration as the travel agent firm, situated in the London. The following report discuss
about the tools and techniques that should be used by the to measure the organizational
performance . Along with this, the employee well-being is one the major factor which helps
to improve the motivation and performance. The particular report also covers PESTEL
analysis which helps them towards growth and expansion.
What tools and techniques will help improve organizational
performance?
Organizational performances determine whether the company is successful or not.
The success of the firm depends on the way the company's employee coordinates and
perform the assign task. This helps the organization to be more efficient and effective that
leads them to stay in competition. Performance management helps the organization to use the
tools and techniques and keep regular monitor on the activities of the respective firm. So
there are various tools and techniques which crystal travel can use to raise their functioning
are discussed below:
Performance appraisal: It is one the tool that can be used to evaluate the individual
ability, growth, accomplishment and where they lack. It helps the organization to
know about the individual's contribution towards the growth and success (Olufunke
and et .al., 2021). The performance appraisal should be enough fair and honest so that
accurate work record can be kept so that it doesn't lead to the individual's DE-
motivation within the firm. It basically helps both the managers and employees to
create the strategy for employee enhancement through training and feedback. This
helps organization to know where management can improve their their working
condition so that work quality and productivity is increased.

individual from both internal and external. This is considered as one of the effective
method which helps to determine the employee performances. It basically take into
the consideration the review of many people not just the manager so that the
organization gets fair assessment of the individual performance (Jardioui, Garengo
and ElAlami, 2019). It is also used in the training and development of the employee
by the hr management of the firm. It basically helps in deciding how well the
employee of the Crystal Travel are performing.
Key performance indicators: it is one of the critical assessment of the performance
so that evaluation can be done of a particular activity to gain the success. This
indicators helps the organization to make the strategic decision to reach the set target.
The organization should provide training to employees that actively helps in
achieving the target. This will lead to the proper utilization of the available resources
so that proper assessment can be done of the employee and company towards success.
Employee with more positive attitude have the desire to get the things done on time.
This technique helps organization to distinguish among the effective and ineffective
employee so that they can put more efforts on providing training to ineffective
employee and effective employee can develop more skills to achieve the targets more
rapidly.
Reward and recognition: this is one of the important tool to performance
measurement. The employee feel motivated and enthusiastic when their work are
recognized and rewarded. It is very important for the organization to work in favor of
employee and keep them motivated in order to maintain high performance level of
employee. When the employees become demotivate then it affect the mission and
vision of the organization. So if employees are motivated they carry the task very
effectively and efficiently that enhances the company's growth and profitability. By
providing rewards to employee it encourages them to put more efforts and participate
in every activities which are conducted by the organization.

productively which helps organization to move towards achievement of the success.

at work. It is very important for organization to take care of the employee so that
proper utilization of resources will help to gain more profits (Holbeche, 2018). This
will help the organization to be in the market for the long term and remain in the
competition by providing extraordinary facility to the customers.
Attaining objective: The main focus of every organization is to achieve the set
targets. Therefore, there must be coordination among the employee of the
organization to be more successful. To become successful, the respective firm should
provide positive working environment to the employee so that objective are achieved
smoothly. If the organization fails in maintaining the positive environment and
motivation to employees then the productivity of the employee are affected which
leads to decline in company performance (Bracken and Rotolo, 2019). Attaining the
objective with proper utilization of resources help the organization to be more
competitive that helps them to earn more profits and good brand image among the
customers.
Flexible working environment: The flexible working environment helps the
employee to maintain the balance between the work life and personal life. The
management should understand and respect the employee’s personal life which will
make employee and organization relationship more stronger. The organization should
allow the workers to manage or adjust their time according to work slightly that helps
them to achieve the target more easily. Here Crystal Travel company should provide
employee with the work from home facility which help the employee to spend little
time family members also.
Team morale: If individual members of the firm are satisfied then they will be more
involved in team work. This help to increase the coordination among the employee
which help the organization to grow faster. If coworkers spend quality time they feel
motivated and work harder and they feel more responsible towards the organization
which improves the productivity, performance of the individual work. By organizing
social events employee can feel more connected with the coworkers and helps them to

have power to make decision, freedom, trust in the workplace then it will
automatically boost the confidence and employee morale in the organization.
Well being program decreases absenteeism: It is very important for an organization
to take care of the employee well being so that they can work towards achieving the
success. If the well being of the employee is good then the day to day operation will
be conducted smoothly. This helps the organization to achieve their mission and
vision more effectively. Crystal Travel can conduct the wellness program so that
employee don't feel stress working in the organization. As the number of absenteeism
increases due to the unhealthy and stress working environment. So, its the top
priorities of the respective firm to look over the health of the employee (Boydand,
et .al., 2018). To create a healthy and productive workforce it is necessary to make
sure that the physical and mental health of the employee are appropriate.

From the above report it can be concluded that to improve the organizational
performance different tools and techniques can be applied. This helps organization to grow
and achieve the mission and objective in the long term. This reports also conclude that
employee well being is one of the important factors which every organization should consider
to enhance the performance of the organization. This will lead the organization to gain more
profitability if the employee are motivated and well being of them are taken into the

the Crystal Travel company is situated in London it have good political stability and
there is no frequent changes in the strategies.

rate, unemployment rate affects the organization performance in the long run. With
respect to the chosen company the people living in London have high spending
power(Wade and Piccinini, 2020). This will benefit the company as the people have
potential on spending on traveling which will increase the sales.
